I took my vehicle here on a referral after having tire work done at Discount Tires up the road. They assumed, as I did that the noises coming from the front end were likely wheel bearing issues - they sent me here since the mechanic knew an owner or manager of Buckys and said good things about the work environment. When I got there, Reid greeted me and gave me a guess for the issue (also assumed it to likely be a wheel bearing) and a time frame for diagnostics and work to begin. He was really chill, knowledgeable and didn't mind my waiting around while they worked. I was gonna leave my vehicle and expected they run diagnostics about 3 hours after my arrival then actual work possibly done that day or the following. I sat very comfortably in the front waiting room with my work bag and stayed busy - their environment was friendly and I never felt like I was in the way. As luck would have it, they found the issue to be a super simple fix (a cover was dragging and creating this noise). They fixed it fast and Reid happily sent me on my way without charging me for wild labor fees. This is my new local go to shop, it should be yours too!

Took car in for tune up on Saturday was told it would take a few hours. Few hours had passed and was told that the parts guy had given them a damaged ignition coil pack and they would need to have the car till Monday morning. Got there Monday morning and asked for the car back cause I had found a cheaper mechanic to do the repairs. Was told it was too late and that the parts had already been put in. (Weird cause the parts guy hadn’t brought them the new ignition coil) told them okay that’s fine I’ll pay the $789 for the tune up they did. Was also told that on the diagnostic test they did that the catalytic converter needed replaced and would cost $1800 (little do they know I’ve got a book of everything done to this car that shows that it was replaced just last year) anyways I got the car back and was told the check engine light would come back on due to that. Car still ran rough. Took it to the dealership and had them do a diagnostic test and lone behold it’s a bad ignition coil that’s the issue ( seems like they just put that bad ignition coil they received from the parts guy in the car so they could get paid). Have video off master technician from dealer ship saying it’s a faulty ignition coil and knew right away this is exactly what they had done. Make this right and the review goes away.
