Went here looking to negotiate on a used truck and left empty handed. Salesman was inattentive and didn’t know much about the trucks we were looking at to the point my wife was asking me the questions not the salesman. When it came time to talk pricing, Mike began with the pressure tactics to try and get us to agree to a price (this truck was 5000 above market value) and proceeds to talk down to us like this dealership has standards like no other. He continued to tell us to “calm down” and “take a breath” while he was the one raising his voice. He talked over us and even rolled his eyes multiple times when we talked price. I will never be taking my business to sunset ever again horrible customer service and sales tactics.
Brought my truck in for a oil change told them it has other codes coming up when i start it if they can look into it since truck will already be there and its only 3yrs old they told me just bring it in we will take care of you, but when i drop it off she tells me they will only do the oil change dont have time for anything else, plus my maintenance package has all fluids top off but they refused to top off the DEF unless i paid extra. Every time i took it to other Ford dealers for oil change it was never a problem, i had to take it to Way Scarff in auburn they took care of me and said DEF is still included. Next time ill wait the extra week for oil change

Late last year, I was looking for an F350 dually to tow my 5th wheel trailer. Sunset Ford had the exact trim level and color I was looking for. The sales experience was as good as can be expected, since I came to the dealership after driving nearly 90 miles, without an appointment.
Fast forward 6 months and 4000 miles later, and trouble began. The front tires were wearing poorly and I took the truck into my local dealership to have the alignment checked. My dealer found the rear axle was out of alignment, by a fair amount. They also found that it appeared there had been a service bed installed on the truck at some point and the rear axle had been adjusted to compensate for the weight. Once the stock bed was replaced on the truck, the rear axle was never put back into spec. The cost to remedy the axle issue was over $1800. There was no remedy through the base warranty or extended warranty.
I called Sunset Ford to ask if there was something they would do to help my situation. I was told since the truck wasn't there, they wouldn't help me. There was no options or alternatives. I would have to drive two hours, drop off the truck, then find a way to get home again, only to have to do it again when I picked up the truck. They wouldn't help out with the cost of me having the work done at the dealership near me either. I am truly disappointed with the lack service with Sunset Ford. I would not recommend buying from them unless you live locally and have the extra time in your life to travel to Sumner for repairs.

This was the first time I brought my Escape to Sunset Ford for service. Really nice experience. The Ford app said there was System Lighting Failure & Check Engine soon notice, and since I needed an oil change anyway, I decided to take my Escape to Sumner so I could meet a friend for a round of golf while the service was being done. The Tech got me a courtesy ride to the High Cedars Golf Course and a friend brought me back. I’d been told the service would take all day so I wasn’t surprised when I got back at 2:00 and it wasn’t ready. I grabbed a cup of complimentary coffee and a bag of popcorn and took a seat in a very comfortable waiting lounge with wi-fi. But in about an hour, my vehicle was ready to roll. Great service, friendly people. I will most likely be buying my next SUV from a Sunset dealership. Thanks for the positive experience.

I had such a great experience at Sunset Ford and wanted to share how well I was taken care of from start to finish.
Andy and Corey were super communicative with all of my questions and really flexible with my schedule when I had to cancel and come back later. I had some very specific wants and needs and they made it happen without any pressure or haggling, which I really appreciated.
Jordan the GSM was also awesome and helped everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
A huge thank you to Raina in finance. She was one of the kindest and most genuine finance managers I’ve ever worked with. She took her time explaining everything and never rushed me, which meant a lot because it is a lot of paperwork. She even helped me review my previous contract to see if I needed to cancel an insurance policy with my trade in.
To top it all off Andy didn’t just hand me the keys, he took the time to walk me through every feature in my new car without rushing me at all.
Overall I am extremely happy with the service and felt truly taken care of every step of the way. Highly recommend!
