  I prefer to go with Gerber when getting insurance related work done. They make the process smooth with setting up car rental and working out details with insurance. They are friendly and down to earth and do great work. 5 stars isnt enough

  PREDATORY COMPANY: READ THIS REVIEW. (Note: read Gerber’s response to me below. It’s completely false. I don’t know who Kenneth W. from management is and I have never heard from anyone there after they messed up my car. Is that corporate boilerplate CYA verbiage? Seems like it to me.) You should read this: it won’t be very long but you should know that this place is willing to take a car apart, and if their quote is more than you can afford for them to fix (they wanted $7,200 for 3-4 small dents and less than 20 scratches on my car, all cosmetic), they will not put your car back together and tell you that you are responsible for getting it off their property. I drove a perfectly fine and running car with only minor cosmetic damage onto that lot, and they went in league with an insurance company to do everything they could to keep it there. Even tell me that although they took the car apart, they wouldn’t put it back together and have it be the exact same way that was given to them, when it was running just fine and only had minor cosmetic damage. Nice people over there, but this is terrible customer service. It’s terrible policy. It is not putting the client first. And unfortunately even though I have had good luck in the past with Gerber, I cannot recommend them anymore. If there were a zero stars rating, I would give it. I ended up paying 20% out of pocket (yes, Maaco repaired it for $1,400) of what Gerber was charging, so avoiding them in the future is a no brainer to me. What kind of an auto body shop will tear your vehicle apart but will not put it back together? Unbelievable. Needless to say, I will never do business with this company ever again. This is completely predatory. Better Business Bureau will be hearing from me as well as Yelp and other venues to warn the public.
