- KAKelly AllenNov 5, 20251.0The car (2025?) Nissan altima was a very nice and well maintained car Unfortunately the company business practices are very lacking. I got a prorate for a week due to my car needing to be worked on. I told the gentleman at the front desk I didn't know if it would get done by Monday or Tuesday, but if it did, I would receive some compensation back. He said (along with his coworker) that's long as I dropped it off by Tuesday (rented it on the 31st of October, so the 4th) I would get some money back. When I got there the same guy said... "oooh yeah sorry, you juuuust missed it. The cut off period is 2:50pm". (It was 4:30) Both men never mentioned the 2:50pm cutoff time (I rented out the vehicle at about 3:45 on the 31st so that time makes no sense regardless) and they quoted me 45/day which was BS. It ended up being OVER $105/day. Next time I'll do an AirBnB and go to work by bus. It's not so much the price that bothers me, it's the suckering in and lying that gets me. I'll never rent from Alamo/enterprise again because of this.
