Unfortunately this was my third time trying to get it fixed because one of their mobile techs Deven told me that my chip had been previously repaired when he came to my work last week and refused to fix it. So when I rescheduled to have it done at home I was going to have the same tech I canceled it and brought to you guys instead. Glad that I brought my car in to you.
- SCS CApr 25, 20261.0Let’s see, they broke four pieces of molding, didn’t say anything and they flew off driving 25 mph. If that weren’t enough, they needed to “recalibrate” the onboard software. Took it back, sat in the lobby for more than an hour on a “just a couple minutes” job. No molding repaired “have to order the pieces” and want me to come back out. For the third time. I bought the four pieces of molding and it was over $500 and it’s not painted, it’ll be another $300 for paint and $200 for installation. The recalibration failed, I’ll have to take it to the dealer for another $300. My deductible was $500, I’m into their damage for $1,300 and counting!

I'm also concerned about the future of our world now, Safelite holds tight to the thought that charging for proper disposal of a window that has already been disposed of is going to save the world from something. The workman that replaced the window did great, however, he must have missed the internal training video about how deadly, harmful and abhorrent old broken glass can be to our modern society and very existence. I cleaned up the broken glass before and after the window was replaced.
