- JKJacque KNov 26, 20253.0Generally speaking, Maverick is a great gas station. I frequent this specific location on Montgomery several times a month. The staff are pretty friendly. I have noticed over the last few months the quality has declined regarding their hot food items from the Bonfire Grill. It doesn't matter if I go in at 730 or 915 there is hardly any hot food available. Several months ago, it was rare to find them running low on burritos and there was always several kinds of burrito available. Now it seems it's just sausage or MOAB or Chorizo available. Very disappointing!

Now if you're paying with card, so there were literally two employees just yapping, and not actually ringing them up.So apparently employees there just for show not actual work. This is why I don't use Maverick gas stations unless I have to. 🙄

It's literally a block away, you get free soda/food item, etc., every 6 instead of 10, the place is clean and the staff is so much nicer and more professional. I still go to Evergreen and Pines Maveriks, but if I need to stop around here, I'll skip this place. The staff at this location has really gone downhill, often ignoring customers while chatting with each other or friends that stop in, and the counters around the soda fountain and the area where they keep lids and napkins is always dirty and sticky. Then this woman, Tiffani or Tiffany I think, who recently joined the staff at this location seems to be just a petty, horrible human. Three times in a just a couple weeks I've seen (and very loudly heard) her in confrontations with customers. It's awkward and uncomfortable for everyone in the store, no thanks.
