Worst experience of my life!!! They have hidden fees..Don't do their insurance they charge you $150 for finding insurance and add it in...Then when it was time to get it out they wouldn't take it out!!! They said I had to have it in 2 more months per WA law but the law was different the year I got the DUI but they wouldn't listen I had to have DOL call them to get it out!! Worst company I've ever dealt with nobody communicates together to make things runs smoothly and they are still trying to charge my card when the device isn't even in my car anymore...Find another way

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?

The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
