  Maika was super helpful in making my rental smooth and pleasant. At first I was given an older vehicle without CarPlay, but as soon as I pointed that out, he immediately switched me over to a newer model with wireless CarPlay which made my trip much easier. Thanks Maika!

  Waited an hour for a car. The line only had about 6 people ahead of us so she spent 10 min for each reservation making small talk. We reserved a luxury car, they didn’t have one so we got a Nissan versa- which was fine but they charged us for the luxury car still. The guys upstairs who assign the cars were great- they understood we were on a time crunch and got us moving quickly. When we went to return the car there were no spaces and cars were just left middle of the lane. It was chaotic but summed up our experience.

  This location needs better training. The queue is ridiculously long (every time) and it’s woefully understaffed. When there’s a line out the door, maybe consider moving people through quickly, hold back on the upselling and “what do you plan to do today with the rental car” questions! People certainly have other things to get to other than hanging out on 3rd and Stewart downtown Seattle.

  I rented a car from National at Seattle Downtown yesterday and had one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had — thanks to Tannis. Although the vehicle I initially wanted wasn’t ready, she immediately proposed a thoughtful alternative at a minimal fee and took the time to recommend a car that would better suit my large amount of luggage. What truly stood out was her empathy and professionalism. She genuinely understood my situation and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Tannis turned what could have been a minor inconvenience into an exceptional experience. National is very fortunate to have her on the team. Highly recommend this branch!
