Absolute Katastrophe.

I’ve rented from Enterprise over the years and have had great customer service and friendly staff manage my reservations. Yesterday (Sunday) I was at the downtown Seattle location on 3rd Ave. I had gotten into an accident and needed a rental to get on with my life while I waited for the outcome on my claim. My local Enterprise was at capacity and had no available cars this weekend so I checked with this location and was told there was availability. I did not think about this location being a central hub for travelers and also local inhabitants who lived close by and do not have cars. By the time I arrived 10 minutes before my 9:30am appointment there was a very long line ahead of me. It took about 2 hours and 15 min or so before I made my way to get my car. But I met lots of great people in line! Travelers and locals alike. We all traded stories and were in wonder of the one and only person behind the counter. Trevor was managing the entire customer line by himself. He was very even keeled and had a great personality. He processed everyone very efficiently and was very courteous with everyone who went up to him with their reservation. Every time someone got done and left the office the crowd would erupt with cheers! Once my reservation was settled I went upstairs to Level B of the building. Debo handled getting a car for me. He presented me with several great options. Again another employee who managed things with a cool and composed manner. He had a sunny disposition and a very warm and friendly personality He explained that if I found a new car at a dealership with an Enterprise nearby I could return it there and be driven back. they were understaffed and the employees were woring on cleaning the outgoing cars. I took a lunch while my vehicle was being prepared and when i returned Mitch checked the car out to me. It had gotten busy but Mitch made sure I had the car figured out before I exited the building Kudos to Enterprise and the staff at this location. There were so many people in line but because the team handled everything so well, the customers remained calm, even with a very very long wait time. People were patient and there was no grumbling or tension. Everyone was doing their best to be patient and even encouraged each other. TIP - Preparation is key. Have your reservation code, license and credit card ready when you get to the counter. This makes it exoedient for you and the folks after you.

Still in line, it's been over an hour. Even had an enterprise branch manager in line with us who offered to help but they wouldn't let him.

Mitch was great and very helpful with drop off. Unfortunately the other employees there are intent on making their customer’s lives as difficult as possible. Took over two hours to get the car. Save yourself the hassle and don’t pay with a debit card. They made up some arbitrary rule that you couldn’t use a debit card even if you’re not taking the car out of the country and returning it back to Seattle. Long lines and general incompetence all around.

I had to get a rental car because someone hit my car while it was parked on a neighborhood street in the city. The front desk service was great, but when I went to return the car the person doing intake questioned me regarding subtle dents on the drivers side door that apparently weren't documented prior to me picking up the car. To see the dents he was talking about you literally had to be at a particular angle with the right light. I had the car for a couple weeks while mine was in the repair shop. I didn't hit anything and I didn't witness anything hitting the car. A few weeks later I received a $300 bill in the mail for damage repairs. This is extremely frustrating since I wouldn't have even had this car had mine not been hit in the first place.
