I took an Uber and they called me as I arrived to tell me they had no vehicles. Their response was that it was normal to over book. There were two other groups who were in the parking lot with the same problem. That's pretty horrible practice. It did turn me on to Turo, which was cheaper and quicker and didn't treat customers as expendable. Seattle is the only location I've seen do this, but I hope they stop that practice. If you don't have a car to rent, don't over book... especially at the customers expense. I sincerely hope they resolve this, I liked the company greatly and have been a long time customer.
