  Probably the smoothest process/transaction I’ve ever received from a rental car company. I chose to skip the counter, went to the parking lot and was greeted by an Alamo employee, he told me to pick my vehicle in the first row and head straight towards the exit and they’ll take care of me there. All I needed to provide was my drivers lic. And the same CC I used when I purchased the rental. Super quick, easy and hassle free! No arm wrestling! Thank you Alamo! I will be using you more frequently when traveling. 😊

  The car rental experience with Alamo was overall, very good however I felt rushed when picking up the vehicle, did not have time to look it over for damage before leaving the rental center at SEA only to find later a damaged driver-side rear quarter panel wheel-well liner and scuffed hubcap. I did report it, but didn't receive an acknowledgement. I must also report some concerns with the handling of the Hyundai, Santa Fe we rented. The vehicle had a tendency to feel as though it had a momentary loss of steering control. I think this might have bee the automatic lane departure feature, which I would have disabled had I been more familiar with the vehicle, but a momentary loss of steering at highway speed is very unnerving.

  Rented a car via Costco Travel for our recent Seattle vacation. We always go with Alamo, even if the price is a few bucks more than their competitors. Alamo has a great option to head straight to the car rental pick up (skip the line) and the return process is always smooth without any issues. When I had previously rented with their competitors, I would find they would try to tack on additional "gas fee" even though I ALWAYS return the vehicle with a full tank from a gas station less than a 1/4 mile from the return. I have never had Alamo try to charge me any additional fees like these other car rental services. In addition to Alamo's honest billing, their customer service when returning the vehicle is fantastic! Always go with Alamo for great service and honest billing.

  Quick and easy check-in at the desk at Sea-Tac. The agent gave me great directions to the cars, where I was greeted by another agent. Willie instructed me to choose from the 3 available vehicles in my chosen size and handed me his card to contact him in the event I needed anything during my rental. The car was in great condition, just a scrape to report. I had no issues with the rental and returned it an hour early the next day to make sure I allowed time for the shuttle from the rental center to the airport. The staff there greeted me, instructed where to leave key, and directed me to the shuttle. Within minutes I had my receipt emailed, including a slight discount for the early return. The extra time for the shuttle was a good call, as there was a line, and I had to wait for a second shuttle.

  Disappointing. Concerned that your rental cars are not properly checked before they are left out to be rented. Here’s what I encountered and was totally avoidable. On April 6, After leaving the SEATAC rental facility having picked up my Alamo car rental and heading to my destination I hear a warning beeping signal but couldn’t immediately address while driving. Turns out it was a warning that the washer fluid needed refilling and the beeping continued. So had to google how to locate where to fill it and how to get to it and then fill it. Then after that was taken care of another warning light came on that the engine maintenance servicing needed. I’ve never had such issues renting cars from any company and was worrisome and more importantly inconvenient. I initially relayed these concerns to Sophia when returning the car at the SEATAC rental facility on April 9 and she said an adjustment will be made to my charge for my inconvenience. I called Alamo’s customer service to relay my concerns and charge adjustment. He said he would raise the concern to higher level to be addressed and provide follow up response to me. Sadly, these concerns overshadowed the friendly and helpful staff at the Alamo site and customer service- they were all great.
