My husband rented a vehicle from the California branch on December 19, 2025, for our holiday trip to Leavenworth. On December 20, 2025, at approximately 6:30 pm, the vehicle experienced mechanical issues on Freeway 90 West in Washington State, prompting my husband to contact roadside assistance. The assistance team was helpful, sending a tow truck and instructing my husband to return to our Airbnb, with a replacement vehicle to follow. However, at 10 pm, the tow truck company contacted my husband, stating the airport branch was unable to locate my information in their system. My husband then contacted roadside assistance, and a three-way call was established with the branch. The roadside assistance team confirmed an email had been sent for a replacement vehicle, but the branch employee refused to provide the vehicle to the tow truck company, citing instructions from management. After speaking with the roadside assistant, they stated that they would escalate the matter to the next level and arranged for an Uber to take my husband to the local airport to obtain the replacement vehicle. The Uber arrived at 10:30, and we are 1.5 hours away from the airport. My husband returned home at 2 am, extremely upset and disappointed with the branch. They did not provide the replacement vehicle, and he told me that an employee at the branch threatened to call the police if he did not leave.

We went to this location to get a replacement after we provide our booking information their staff Steve was very rude and not being helpful. He keeps telling me he couldn’t find our name on the systems and he says he can’t give me a car. It’s was weekend and we are 1 1/2 hr away from the airport. We insist that we badly needed the car because we are stranded. Instead helping us he threatening me by calling the cops to escort me outside.
