  The front desk lady Miracle is awesome. Super responsive and helpful and tried her best to make fixing my truck as easy to afford as possible. I felt they were honest about what could be fixed vs what needed immediate attention, and provided a great explanation for all costs on an easy to read worksheet. I will definitely come back next time I need servicing because of their transparency, communication, helpful and attentive attitude, and most of all a job well done. Almost forgot to mention they were able to take my appointment same day and I’m very satisfied with the result. Thank you for such great service, I never write reviews but I’m so grateful for everything they did to accommodate me.

  The folks at Gateway were very professional and efficient from the initial phone call until the completion of service. I was under a time constraint only being in town for a few days and they managed to get me in while other shops told me at least a week. They provided a thorough inspection of all major components with pictures and descriptions of issues but there was no pressure to upsell anything. An honest shop with reasonable prices, would certainly use again if necessary.

  These guys are very professional and their customer service is excellent and fast. I called them and within seconds a customer service rep called me back to help. Even though we’re in a different city, she was still able to help me with the information I needed for my car. I just wish I was closer so I could send my cars to them all the time. Thank you guys! 🙏

  Jim and the team at Gateway Automotive Experts were great helping me with my restoration project! My first generation Toyota 4Runner is running well after years of neglect, and Jim helped me plan out a list of work I can get to over time. He prioritized the work to be done to help spread out the project, which was very helpful! Highly recommend the team at Gateway!

  We brought our 2011 Subaru WRX to Gateway Automotive Experts in Oak Harbor for a full clutch replacement. The original quote was $3,680 which included resurfacing the flywheel and level one vehicle inspection. Once they got everything apart, they discovered the flywheel had a deep groove and couldn’t be resurfaced, so it needed to be replaced instead. They also noticed some moisture around the transmission axle seals and recommended replacing those while everything was already apart. There was also a small delay while the correct flywheel was ordered, so the repair took a a little longer than expected. The final total came out to $4,160. Throughout the whole process the team was very patient and thorough in explaining what needed to be done. We called a few times for updates and they were always kind and never made us feel like we were bothering them. Jim and Miracle were amazing to work with, and our mechanic did a great job as well. It ended up being a little more expensive than we were hoping for, but the car is running and driving great now and we’re happy to have it back on the road. They also offer payment options which we did not need to utilize but it was there. Thank you to Jim, Miracle, and the mechanic for taking the time to explain everything and getting our WRX back on the road. Gateway Automotive will definitely be the place we continue to bring our Subaru for service.
