I had only had the truck for a couple of days, and since it was a gift from my brother, I wanted to make sure everything was running properly. I paid nearly $200 for the service and expected a full inspection of all essential fluids, as advertised. A few days later, my truck began overheating, and the dashboard even displayed “Check Gages.” This is something that should never happen immediately after a professional inspection. I returned to the location and once again paid close to $200, only to later learn—thanks to a knowledgeable employee at AutoZone—that my coolant was extremely low. He added over a gallon of coolant on the spot. This made it clear that Jiffy Lube never checked the coolant or radiator fluid during my service, despite charging premium prices and claiming to inspect these items. This level of negligence not only cost me financially, but could have caused serious engine damage. I am extremely disappointed that a 90-year-old AutoZone worker was able to diagnose in minutes what Jiffy Lube overlooked twice. I expected basic competence and attention to detail, especially when it comes to something as critical as coolant levels on a vehicle known for temperature sensitivity. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope this review encourages others to double-check their vehicles after service, and I hope Jiffy Lube addresses the lack of thoroughness and accountability at this location.
