I usually do my own oil changes, but because I was on a road trip from Canada, i decided to put my trust in a shop to get it changed. Today I was replacing my oil after 3k miles and noticed an issue. The tech who went downstairs to put on my new oil filter put it on so tight I had to call in a mechanic to remove it. He said it was the tightest he's ever seen and it was done deliberately. Haha, funny dude, you got me, you showed us Canadians. I was wondering what was so funny as I was leaving. The tech who serviced my car up top was great though. Super honest and clear.

The reason is because of the 2 line que arrangement. A customer who pulled into the other lane about 8 minutes after I arrived was in the other service bay about 15 minutes before I got in to a service bay. I recommend that you have 1 que line so that the next vehicle can go to the first service bay available.

- JGJudy GriffinJan 2, 20261.0Went there for a simple oil change tranny flush and radiator flush they left the car running in the bay for 45 and asked me to cut the car off the worker instantly pulled off the coolant hose sending fluid EVERYWHERE burning himself badly. Shortly after I left thinking I had every service done shortly after I started overheating and noticed there was a clamp on my radiator hose and the radiator was leaking EVERY BAD. Long story short I got the van inspected the oil hadn't been changed the oil was so dark it looked black the radiator separated and caused so much stress on the engine that it messed up the heads and now my van doesn't even run. Valvoline wouldn't take responsibility nor try to make it right what so ever I recommend keeping your vehicle away from Valvolin if you want to keep your car or cars running and driving.
