The device has locked me out 4 times and each time I gotta pay $100. I paid extra $money I shouldn't have to pay extra money when there's money there in the account I have with them. They claim not to have access to it, because the company that has my money, they are a 3rd party company, "That will be $100 please and thank you? Umm then why do you have the option to pay it fully outright??
Whatever this is ridiculous, guy asked me to appeal the extra bull crap charge, and then appeal for my money from the outright option I still paid, and it is still there in the app, why can I see it in the app, but I use my money? They locked my money away too wow! Device locks you out if you accidentally almost crash trying to blow into the device at 70 mph (by the way, don't think about driving fast on a rainy day, the false blow will get you locked out of your car, false possitive or even 0 alcohol consumption is needed for lock out so get $100 ready), I would think this is a very important thing to inform people about. I haven't had a drop this whole time having this IID and seriously, I am pissed about how no one at the company seems to even give a crap about anything you have to say, I have a whole family relying on this car and me driving specifically, so the emergence of this situation is fully reliant on my ability to get things done. Yes, I shouldn't have drank behind the wheel, and yes I'm sorry, My DUI I had was from emotional and mental health of a manic depressive disorder person that day, and I still have it, but I'm on my medication now, finally I can work on myself and my family, and I have to literally be in trouble for having mental health troubles personally, and I'm of course not allowed even time for that because I'm a guy, and for whatever reason I guess that's an issue. America tells you not to be crazy or differentor weird... how do you do that without winding down? You think I don't already know I have issues. They are in my head stressing me out yes, but those are my demons to wrestle, why do I have to pay them rentt??? I'm just begging, please Lord forgive me for I have sinned, don't take my legs away, especially when I am doing any and everything the "right" way, and I still can't get a break. This needs to be known that they want you to come in on the first (second) misblow for a charge of around $100 each and every time. Sorry, I'm vibrating with rage of how now, with no money to continue with this crap, I have to gather up money, with no job or wheels, to go fork over $money again please excuse me. I have paid close to 2k just from me over paying and paying for a faulty machine that apparently I have to pay to fix.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock
How does an interlock device work?
An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.
What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
How do I use my interlock device?
Using an IID is simple. To start your vehicle, blow into the device as directed. If the device detects no alcohol, your car will start. You may be prompted for "rolling retests" while driving, where you’ll blow into the device again to confirm compliance. How-to videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.

What happens if I fail a breath test on my ignition interlock device?
If you fail a breath test, your vehicle will not start, and the device will log the event. Depending on your state’s regulations, multiple failed tests may trigger additional penalties, such as lockouts or reporting to your monitoring authority. Intoxalock devices allow you to retest after a short wait if alcohol is no longer detected. Always follow your state’s guidelines to remain compliant.
Can I install an ignition interlock device in a vehicle I don’t own?
