I just had a wonderful experience with this shop. My 2024 Honda CRV EXL had to come in due to a rear end accident I was involved in. The shop handled the insurance claim for me and the whole process was smooth and painless. The work they did on my car was perfect and they kept me fully updated along the whole way. My car was only away from me for a short period of time as well and not having to wait forever to get it back was the best part of it all. The manager, Elizabeth, was amazing and such a pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable and her customer service was superior to other shops I have worked with in the past. This shop is extremely lucky to have her. Patience was really great to work with as well.

Gerber has been and always will be my go to shop for body and glass work. I manage a small fleet that's had more than it's fair share of accidents and they've always been communicative, honest, friendly and professional with fantastic results. My first experience with Gerber was over 20 years ago for a window off the track on an 1980 Buick Park Ave, I've never been disappointed with their communication, professionalism or results.

I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Patience at the front desk was very thorough about the process and did a great job juggling my requests. Body mechanics and paint shop did a wonderful job repairing my truck and made sure everything was perfect before I picked it up. Customer service like this is rare.

I took my leased vehicle to this shop after someone hit my car while I was buckling my baby into the car seat. The at-fault driver’s insurance, USAA, recommended this shop for an estimate. Because my vehicle is leased, I confirmed with Honda before proceeding with repairs. Honda wanted to handle the interior repairs, while the body shop would handle the exterior work. I communicated this clearly to both the USAA claim adjuster and the repair shop before any work began. I was told this would be fine and that the dealership and body shop would coordinate. However, I received a call from the shop saying all repairs—including the interior—had already been completed. It turns out they never contacted Honda beforehand and simply decided to perform the entire job themselves. After this issue came up, the shop finally reached out to Honda and USAA. At that point, Honda advised USAA that the decision on how repairs should proceed was mine. That only made the situation more frustrating, because the shop had already moved forward and taken that decision away from me. To make matters worse, the estimated pickup date is scheduled for the day after I leave the state, even though I had informed the shop in advance that I would be traveling. Their solution was that I could leave the vehicle there until I return, which would leave me without a vehicle when I get back with my baby. This claim should have been straightforward. Regardless of whether the shop believes their work is good or that doing everything in-house is easier, they made a repair decision for my leased vehicle without my authorization and without confirming with the dealership first. The lack of communication and disregard for the plan that had already been discussed has been extremely disappointing. I hope USAA carefully considers situations like this when recommending repair partners.
