- GUGoogle UserOct 31, 20251.0Quoted me and told me because the damage was only cosmetic, that I could drive the car while we waited on parts which could take weeks to arrive. This would save me from having to pay months worth car rental fees and storage fees. They told me they are ordering the parts needed and they would call me when the parts arrived. Over two weeks went by and I heard nothing. I called today to check up on things. They don’t me that they never ordered parts. That it’s their company wide policy that even if the car is totally drivable, you must leave the car on their lot for weeks on end racking up storage fees ($180 a day) for weeks on end while waiting for parts to come in, all the while being drained for possibly months paying car rental fees. I knew I had a bad feeling when I saw all the other bad reviews and now I know they were right. I called my insurance adjuster to try and get things going with another shop. WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND GERBER IN MY LIFE AGAIN!!!
