The condition of the vehicle was unacceptable. The Issues: Cleanliness: The car was extremely dirty both inside and out. Most notably, the back glass had a layer of dirt so thick it was a safety concern for visibility. It clearly hadn't been through a wash or even a quick wipe-down before being handed over. Fuel Level: I was given the car with only a half tank of gas, which is frustrating and adds an extra chore to the start of the trip. Mechanical/Tech Issues: The key fob was malfunctioning. The car wouldn't respond to it at times, leaving me worried about being stranded or unable to access the vehicle. When you rent from Enterprise, you expect a "clean car guarantee" and a vehicle in good working order. This car failed on both counts. I hope the Kent team takes more pride in their fleet maintenance moving forward.
