I went to this location for a transmission flush. Two days later, my car broke down on the side of the interstate and the check engine light came on for the first time in the car’s history.
A mobile mechanic came out and found codes indicating low transmission fluid. When he checked, the fluid was critically low, only about one quart of black fluid drained out. When I had first gone in to Valvoline, they had told me prior to the service that the fluid level was appropriate and that there was no transmission fluid leak. The mobile mechanic also confirmed there was no leak, which leaves only one reasonable explanation: the transmission was not properly refilled after the service with Valvoline.
As a result, my transmission suffered irreversible damage and has to be fully replaced at a cost of over $6,000. The transmission specialist I had the car brought to confirmed the damage is consistent with operating under low transmission fluid.
I filed a claim with Valvoline and provided photos, a detailed timeline, and statements from multiple mechanics supporting these findings. Their only response has been to claim they have a video proving everything was done correctly, but that they can’t show it to me (how convenient). Given the evidence, I strongly question if the video even exists, and if it does exist I am confident that it does not show enough detail to substantiate their claims.
They have since stopped responding to my emails regarding claim updates. When I filed a complaint with the BBB, Valvoline’s response was simply to redirect me back to their internal claims process, where they can better ghost me. Since claim decisions are handled at the store level, which is obviously an incredibly biased process, they are refusing to take accountability.
I urge you not to use valvoline for any service. They are not to be trusted with your vehicle. I will go to my death bed advocating against Valvoline to whoever I can, and on any platform I can.

Went here because the cost was less than half of what I was quoted at another shop for CVT transmission fluid replacement and oil change. Decided to also do a Radiator Flush as well and still saved money here over the other shop. These guys have done the last 3 or 4 oil changes on my car since I moved here and I trust them with the work. Tech also checked my cabin filter and was honest about it still being in good condition and not needing a replacement. I appreciated that since I was already getting several services done. I generally always go to a Valvoline no matter the city I am in when my oil needs to be changed and I am relatively happy with this location.

Quick service, but I felt uncomfortable when an employee talked about me to another worker while I was within earshot. As it was my first time with a new car, I was just asking questions and didn’t feel respected.

The guys at valvoline did amazing at my oil change today but I’ve got to spotlight Raul, he went the extra mile. He noticed an issue with my glove compartment while checking the cabin filter and fixed it for me. THIS is customer service done right! Thanks again Raul!

Both employees were so helpful and shared some basic knowledge with me that I didn’t know. The CSR went out of his way to explain everything that was being done and answered all my questions. It was fast and easy, just like the name says, “instant”…they really live up to that. I will be back and highly recommend Valvoline Instant Oil Change.
