  I worked in ambulance manufacturing and at a collision center in California. I moved here trying to find a shop since I work 50 to 60 a week and dont have time fix things especially in the cold and i lack proper tools. They charged me $100 dollars for a diagnostic which is cheap but when I asked for a estimate wasted my time for days. He must have took a long 3 day lunch break. In my experience at a collision center we fixed entire cars in 2 weeks. Including talking to the insurance company, appraisal, estimator, adjustor and actually fixing the car all in a matter of weeks at most. That is the same time it took me from when I was able to make an appointment and finally after days of begging I got a estimate and no car fixed. Does every one have Stockholm syndrome think waiting weeks for a diagnostic normal in this city ?

  This is how they hook you. I'm new to tri-cities and needed to replace a CV axle in my vehicle. I google and call around a lot of places. Hi-Land wasn't the cheapest, but it was one of the cheapest. I chose the cheapest one (omitting name here) and had a terrible experience - technicians saying things that any person familiar with cars knows are wrong. I walk. Then I go to Hi-Land. When I called the first time, they quoted me $660. When I came to do the repair, they quoted me $570. When I pick up the vehicle, the final price is $540. To note, this price is lower than the lowest place ran by dummies I mentioned above. Meanwhile, I find out that this place has a huge following of long-term happy customers. Now I ask... how can I not go back to this place? How can I not highly recommend them? I'm a new happy customer!

  Listen. This is probably the best garage in the TriCities. They do not work on your car unless they know it needs done. They let you know issues they find other than what its in for and how immediate it is to fix it. They absolutely guarantee the work and do not get testy when you bring the car back in. There is a reason this garage is still in business all these years later. Charlie, Monica, and the entire staff is kind, educationa,l and do thier very best to not do unneeded work. They are worth the wait to get into and have a fantastic turn around time. I reccomend them to everyone.
