I appreciate that they check other components of the car, although if I had the time and inclination to do a bunch of work on my car, I wouldn’t do it while I’m there for an “instant oil change.” My only minor criticism is that they use ridiculously low miles and dates on their oil-change reminder stickers, which feels like passive-aggressive upselling. I strongly suspect that this is an institutional practice, and I don’t hold it against the seemingly great employees who do the work.
