Give me a Brake. I was doing the brakes on my own vehicle and had to pull a caliper. I attempted to bleed the brakes myself with a one man brake bleed kit but still had a soft brake pedal. I got the vehicle to eagle and explained the situation, that there was likely air in the brake lines causing the soft brake. Great, they got me on the schedule next day and did a brake system flush. I pay 180$. I pick the vehicle up and am told that if the pedal is still soft that I have to go to a KIA dealer only because there is probably an ABS system reset or some other dealer-specific reset that needed to occur to fix the issue. I take it next day to west hills KIA. They charge me 180$ to look at it and after a detailed check of the brake system they conclude that there is still air in the brake lines and it needs to be flushed. I pay 220$ to have the brake system flushed AGAIN and it fixes the issue without any other work done (completed on Saturday). I call on Monday to reach out regarding the situation and am met with defensive customer service over the phone from George before even explaining what occurred. He took no responsibility or accountability that they underperformed the service I paid them for. He began rationalizing that I should have told them it wasn't fixed and had them try again, even though they told me to go to the dealer and that they could not fix it otherwise. He blamed me because "i chose to do my own brakes". He told me there would be no refund of the service either. A simple google search will tell you: a properly performed brake flush will evacuate all air from the system. During the rationalization of poor customer service period of our phone call he began telling me that their method of flushing brake systems may not fully remove air from places like the ABS module, this is all after the fact information after scheduling and paying for their service of course, and with the first had knowledge that the primary concern was air in the system. A brake flush is a routine service, and for the shop to not be able to complete this task for the 180$ they asked, it turned into a 680$ 2 shop trip with zero accountability, apology, or concern for customer satisfaction. George also told me he personally watched the brake flush and "that there was absolutely no air". Of course, it was still in the brake system. 10/10 getting me in next day 0/10 for service performed Don't waste your money. I have since shared my experience with other people that live in the harbor with unsurprised responses. Sounds like their reputation precedes them.

I called the shop 2 times regarding price of oil change, I was quoted 90.00 both times. When I got to the shop it was more. I decided to do oil change there a, my time is limited. I was told I needed a new battery because it was low . They quoted be a price and I told them I would get it elsewhere. Once oil change was done, I went to O'Reilly and my battery is at 12. Also my car was left with car window open. I will never go there again!
