- PPPablo PescadorOct 9, 20251.0Avoid this outfit at all cost. Rented a boat for the day. The rental process was fine, return was easy. However, the refundable deposit of $1000 was never refunded. They agree it should have been, but refuse to make it right. I rented from them 7/16/2025. We’re now in October, still no resolution. I’m now having to work with credit card company, and likely through the courts at this point. Stay away from them.
- PPPrerak PradhanSep 20, 20251.0DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. They use faulty GPS systems that show you in places you never were, and then they aggressively confront you about it. An older employee in particular became angry and went on a rant about how their “AMERICAN GPS” could not possibly be inaccurate. He even pulled up a map of our supposed movements—which was clearly wrong—and refused to listen when we tried to explain. He kept repeating that their GPS was “accurate within 3 feet,” which was absolutely not the case. They accused us of beaching the boat and said it had been on sand. When they finally pulled the boat out to inspect the supposed “damage,” they found nothing. At that point their tone shifted drastically, because they realized their “perfect” GPS was not so perfect after all. Technology is never flawless, and responsible operators should understand error margins instead of harassing customers. To make matters worse, their online rates are lower than the rates they charge if you walk in, and their availability calendar—like their GPS—is unreliable. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY.
