- CHCascade HummerFeb 24, 20265.0I had the beginnings of a nightmare time this afternoon when pulling in to get my oil changed, the handle of the oil dipstick in my car broke off. It seemed probable to me that they would simply tell me "sorry, we cant do the oil change until you get that fixed". Instead, the team went right to work extracting the broken off piece from the dipstick tube. We ended up needed some specialty tools to get this job done so I ended up getting my son involved to grab some tools and other things to get the stuck dipstick out. It was really shocking how stuck it was. They had to drill out the plastic using a vacuum to ensure no peices went down into the oil pan. 3 hours later and 90 minutes after the store officially closed the team wrapped up the work and the oil change. It was a real pleasure for me to not be the type of person who gets angry when things do not go as planned. The team at Valvoline in Burlington really went over and above whatever over and above would be. Duncan was very patient, very cautious with my car and never moving to a different strategy without getting my permission first. While I had no plans for being there for 3 hours, I was glad to get to know Duncan a bit while he worked on my car. I have been going to this location for a long time and its always been good but this was really WOW. I had a serious problem on my hands which by all rights was my problem not theirs and they just handled it. I am so grateful for all the effort that was made to get me on the road. Thank you so much!

A week and a half ago when I left without getting a service because they were jockeying cars around and it was taking an hour or more! What the? I know exactly what I am getting each and every time I go in to get my oil changed. They are consistent, respectful and always talk to you about the process and the services they are giving you. They are not high pressure sales, but always showing you what services are available for you to use. The cost is a little higher than your cheap oil change shop, but you ABSOLUTELY get what you pay for....confidence knowing your vehicle was well cared for and thoroughly serviced. Keeps me coming back time and time again.
