Went in with a simple transmission service and was initially very happy with the service and cost. Unfortunately when my husband went to take the car to work a caliper on the brakes came off, tearing up the brake pads and damaged my rim. Thankfully no one was hurt, and he was able to repair it enough to get home. When confronted about what happened, Skagit Transmission denied and doubled down. The owner was super rude on the phone and accusatory. Refused to talk about the problem or help fix what they broke. I wasn’t even looking for a repair cost to be paid for by them. Very disappointed. If you’re looking for good customer service when something goes wrong, don’t go here.

The entire crew at Skagit Transmission were very helpful, professional and followed through with everything they promised. The transmission on my older suburban was rebuilt within the quoted cost and no surprises came up. They have followed up to make sure everything is still working well. A very trustworthy crew.

Needed a new transmission. Was pricey but fair. That's just what a transmission costs. Great service and warranty.
