They did a great job matching the rear bumper color to the trunk lid and rear quarter panels. My car looks amazing, thanks again.

Despite questionable reviews I chose Gerber (Burlington) because they were closest to me and recommended by my insurance company. I own that decision but would not recommend them to anyone else. My car was 15 years old, but it was mine and I took care of it. I did not expect perfection but a quality service. Sadly, a series of disappointments ensued. The shop's management was sympathetic and attempted to address my concerns. Upon arrival to pick up my car I noticed the driver's side floor mat was dirty with parking lot gravel on it. Not a good start. The left front fender, headlight and driver's rearview mirror had required replacement. The driver's door was also repainted. I noticed the fender was no longer flush or parallel with the hood and the protective vinyl was not applied to the mirror housing. The manager apologized for the mismatch, assigned blame to the after-market fender, and attempted to resolve the issue by adjusting the hood bumper stops. I waited while a vinyl technician was called from off-site to apply protection to the mirror. After taking delivery, I noticed "orange peel" and "hazing" in the freshly painted driver door; I decided to live with this as the car already had other slight bruises from my use. What I could not accept was the vibration in the driver rearview mirror (at road speed) and wrinkle in its vinyl film. The shop blamed the after-market mirror (ok, I get it) and film error on the vinyl tech. The mirror and vinyl issues were then remedied. Sometime later I noticed a wire bundle protruding from the aft bottom edge of the driver door trim panel (it was pinched between door and trim). I carefully separated the trim and repositioned the wiring inside the door before releasing the trim. Lastly, I was advised during an oil change six months ago at my dealership that my fog lights were inoperative. They assumed it could be a lamp problem but only had one in stock--so I deferred the issue. I took my car for subsequent maintenance yesterday and requested the fog lights be repaired. The lights were found to be disconnected; they asked if the bumper was removed for any reason... I understand mistakes happen. Management was sympathetic and a measure of satisfaction was mine. But I am retired, and time is not as crucial. Non-quality of this magnitude is not acceptable. Why did no one verify part fit, finish quality, and operationally verify the function/security of the components disturbed during the repair process? 8/26/2025 UPDATE REPLY TO OWNER RESPONSE: RO NUMBER IS 3111216552 I rated your performance compared to my experience with two prior collision repairs of greater scope. One performed by a Volkswagen dealer in St. Louis and the other at Central Auto Body in Everett. Both provided high quality results with ZERO DEFECTS. My disappointment with Gerber lies simply in the fact that I had to point out (or remedy) obvious quality escapes missed by your technicians/quality control: a dirty cabin; hood mismatch; missing or wrinkled vinyl film; orange-peel paint finish; unstable side mirror; a driver door pinched wire bundle, and disconnected fog lights. Staff was friendly and apologetic, but this does not excuse poor business practice.
