Extremely shady, unprofessional place that lies about the services your car needs, and is upselling a lot of “recommended” services. My inspection report said both my rear brake liners needed immediate attention, as it measured 3 mm. I denied the service, and got a second opinion at a small local auto repair shop. All my brake liners are in amazing condition and DO NOT measure 3mm, but rather 7mm for all four of them. The local shop took a photo to show me and even recommended I keep my perfectly good brake liners as it would be a waste to replace them.
I am glad I listened to my gut and got a second opinion. This service department is shady, and I noticed the long sheet of recommended services they handed me at my oil change had some silly, absurd, NOT NEEDED services that are downright robbing you of your money if you did not do your own research. They even pushed for a spark plug change for my car, when I don’t need that for another 50k miles.
I have been a loyal customer going to SODO Toyota for 10+ years for my service with no issues or upselling. I wanted to give Burien a chance but it seems like management here has eyes only for money. Looking at other reviews it looks like a common problem of this Burien location lying about needed service.

Transparent, attentive (without feeling invasive or pushy), charming (but still genuine) our family really enjoyed walking through this process with Jack. Highly recommend him to navigate the shopping and buying with you, for a new or used car. Toyota is already reliable but specifically Burien Toyota, has a great team that (from our experience) have been organized, reasonable, informed, fun and reliable. Ryan in finance was so kind (we had 2 kids with us and he really made what was already a long couple days, smooth and enjoyable). He’s an amazing advocate for both Toyota and us as clients. Cheers! We really needed a good family car that was better on gas than our 2007 Sequoia… and are excited to be in our pre-owned but basically brand new 2022 rav4.

I had a very poor experience in Toyota Burien's service department (this is within the last few years). I had an appointment to get my car serviced. Before going, I placed unique marks on each of my tires and took pictures of them in relation to the car. This was to compare their positions after they were rotated. After the appointment, I compared my pictures and saw that they had not changed. When I asked the worker (an older gentleman, possibly a manager) he was extremely rude and condensing. He insisted that his workers did swap them, despite photo evidence that they were all exactly in the same spot. I know that there are some cases when the tires happen to end up in the same position due to the wear on each of them (which I think is very reasonable), but he didn't give that as a possible explanation and instead kept insisting we were somehow in the wrong. We were calm and polite and just took his poor attitude. Even though this happened a while ago, I'm still shocked by their lack of integrity and humility. He could have easily said "Sorry, it looks like my guys made a mistake, I'll take care of it". But instead he belittled us and would not even consider any wrong doing on their part. If they are dishonest even when shown proof, I'm not sure how I can trust that they completed the rest of the servicing tasks. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone who wants an honest experience where respect goes both ways.

We worked with Cristian Gamez on the sales side. We enjoyed working with Cristian. He was informative and gave us our options without the pressure. He was a high energy person and everything flowed really well. We also worked with Tony and he was prepared for us and was very organized. He was good about letting us know about our options. He also explained all about how the transaction worked so that we felt comfortable with the various options that would come up. We will be back at Burien Toyota when we have the need for another car or truck. Thanks Burien Toyota

Our new Toyota buying experience has been quite smooth, from beginning to end.
Our sales rep Ricardo warmly greeted us at the parking lot and stayed with us during every step of the way – involving other departments (management, finance) as/when needed. He has been sincerely friendly, yet very attentive to every detail, till handing us the keys of our new Toyota. Every other individual who interacted with us were very polite and respectful as well (that goes for two sales managers and finance manager, whom I’m not remembering their names at the moment). All of our questions were listened to and answered with respect and in dignity. At no point we felt any pressure or noticed any careless attitude at all. In summary; I wholeheartedly suggest Burien Toyota to be on top of your Toyota shopping list.
