We bought a new vehicle here a couple of months ago and I purposely waited to write this review hoping that I could find a reason not to. Unfortunately, I couldn't shake the horrible feeling of having someone else go in there expecting to find people you can trust. The big take away? Make sure you check the details. They are fast talkers. The sales guy told us in Oct that we would get our car come thanksgiving - nope. Try January. Say no to everything extra they try to sell you like Gap insurance, electronics insurance, extended maintenance, etc. - if you say yes to one thing, they will get you for the rest. Most importantly, The finance guy is a fast talker. Make sure you see the pink sheet with all the details of what was financed. Make sure you see exact numbers before signing anything. Unfortunately, we didn't see that until we got home after looking in to why the numbers weren't making sense. They try to keep you there long enough to tire you out so that you are excited to get out of there by the time you see the finance guy. Unfortunately even the $200 "negotiable document fee" and the license and title fees get financed for the term of your loan if you don't catch it. As if these things weren't expensive enough, no we have to pay interest on top for the next 5 years. We were able to go back and remove some things, but other things we couldn't. Dealing with these people was a huge disappointment. Avoid if possible.
The whole team, reception, sales, and finance, were lovely. Jack graciously showed me multiple cars and answered all my questions. He gave me a ride to drop off my rental car and take me back to the dealership. He was so accommodating! Jack also made sure I knew how to work Apple CarPlay and all the features in the car before I drove off the lot. He was very knowledgeable and personable. I didn’t feel pressured once, just well attended. Thanks Jack and team for making my car-buying experience so enjoyable. I got a Camry, and I LOVE it!

Great experience buying a new RAV4. Started with Jimmy and Kelly, the managers in sales and ending with Tony in finance. All very helpful and friendly. Outlined all costs, explained them well and no pressure on the add ons that you know they have to offer. But the best part of the experience was Tan the sales consultant who handled most our questions during the process, kept us aware of the status of our new vehicle arriving. Then stayed late and did his best to help a couple older ones learn all the new technology we could that comes with this new car. Great team there in Burien, can’t recommend them enough.
I would say probably the worst dealership. There very few salespeople but over all I wish to rate them below 0. Inconsiderate managers, very pushy finance people. All they care is until you sign up the paperwork.
No one is telling you about the hidden life time warranty. Now you are hooked not to even work on minor issues because unless you follow what they recommends, supposedly, it voids the so called life time warranty.
Even the receptionist woh is working at the front desk , her attitude reflects the entire crew. Unprofessional .
I get service reminders 3 times in a row, every time, I drove 20 + miles from work and when I get there I am told “sorry you don’t have any service scheduled.
I even called corporate, same thing.
Toyota is a good car. I bought 2 new cars back to back from these … give them any name,
Never will I recommend Burien Toyota.
Buying the truck was straightforward, but everything that happened after the sale has been frustrating and unprofessional.
Shortly after purchase I discovered the passenger side mirror assembly was missing a small component. I sent photos clearly showing the issue to the parts department. Instead of actually looking at the photos, I was repeatedly told nothing was missing.
After pushing the issue and calling them, the explanation I received was that the printed photo they looked at was “too dark” for them to see the missing piece. That is the level of effort that went into diagnosing the problem.
To be clear, I was not asking them to replace the part or give me anything for free. I simply wanted the correct part number so I could order the piece myself. Apparently even that was too much to ask.
The last thing I was told was that they would speak to a manager and call me back. That was on January 21. I have not heard anything since.
This entire situation could have been resolved in five minutes if someone had simply looked at the photos and done the most basic parts lookup. Instead I got dismissive responses, excuses, and zero follow-up.
The sale was fine, but once the paperwork was done the dealership showed no interest in helping with even the smallest post-purchase issue. Based on this experience, do not expect much support from Burien Toyota after you drive off the lot.
