Sooo!!! I came back to this dealership after a decade of buying my first car here and would you believe I was blessed to be serviced by the same sales rep that sold me my first car, Miss Valentina Lopez! She is literally the best sales rep I have ever had! Her and Kim worked there Mahon and got me a beautiful car at a APR I would have never thought was possible for me! At a monthly payment that is definitely doable! I have to give my sincerest THANK YOU to them both and their customer service and figuring things out for me with my sticky situation. I 1000% recommend them when buying your next car!

This is my second time getting my car serviced here. The first time was an okay experience but I felt like a $160 oil change should come with a car wash and vacuum. They did respond with saying they typically offer coupons for free car washes but they were out the day I visited.
Well I didn’t get one this time either. But that’s a tiny problem.
The main issue this time is that I completely lost any trust with them. I dropped off my car, waited for it to be done, and when it was done I was presented with a sheet of recommended work to be done on my car totaling $2500… big surprise😐 I refused them all, asked if they can see what work has been done at my car at other dealerships and she said yes if it’s an authorized Nissan dealership. I said I only go to Nissan dealerships and asked for her to tell me when I had my transmission fluid changed. She stated it was done at 51k miles. My car is currently at 82k and they suggested I get my transmission fluid changed every 50k miles. So I asked her why it was being suggested I get it changed almost 20k miles before their own suggestion. She said the mechanics can’t see the report of what work has been done previously. Ok that’s understandable, so what on my car indicated to him my transmission fluid needed to be changed.
This is where another girl who was at a different desk comes over and they both start talking and coming up with reasons that don’t actually make sense as to why they would suggest work on my car that didn’t need to be done. I eventually just said thank you and left but when I entered my car my dashcam wire was completely taken out..?!?! This wire goes under my windshield and tucked in down the side of my driver door and back to my trunk door. There’s no explanation as to why this should have occurred.
I came back to try this location again because I had a coupon. Wasn’t worth it. I’ll be sticking with the Bellevue location where I had a great experience.
I received via mail a letter saying that Burien Nissan wanted my 2021 Sentra and would pay “up to $6000 above blue book value”. I kept the letter and then decided that I was ready to sell my car. I called on a Monday and left voice mail asking for a return call , that I was interested in meeting with them about selling my 2021 Nissan Sentra, left my phone number and asked for a call back. The next day I still hadn’t heard from them and so called again. I made an appointment via Valentina for Wed to speak with the man whose name was on the letter at 2PM (I was told that he was in a meeting when I called). I arrived on Wed on time for my appointment and was told that Irene would help me (“he“ was in another meeting). I showed Irene my letter and we had a discussion about what kind of price I wanted. She went back and forth to a cubicle (speaking with another man). I asked her for an offer in writing. She went back to the cubicle and came out with a paper that listed a blue book value of about $15,2K minus $3,200 in reconditioning cost for what looked to be an offer of $12K. (I didn’t realize that the dealer pays the reconditioning cost). Eventually, she verbally gave me a price of $16K and asked if we had a deal. I said that I had another dealer appointment on Friday that I wanted to honor, and would be selling the car to the dealership that gave me the best price. I asked her to please ensure that the offer for $16K was in the computer so that if I came back when she wasn’t available that it would be there. She said that she would and gave me the business hours for the sales department. The next day (Thursday), I received a telephone call from “James” asking me if I was going to sell my car to them. I reiterated that I had an appt with another dealer the next day (Friday) and that if their offer was the strongest, I would call back and make an appointment to bring my car in to sell. I asked him to verify for me that he could read in his computer the offer that Irene gave to me of $16K. He scrolled in his computer and said that yes, he saw her note to that effect. I went to my Friday appointment. The offer of $16K was the strongest and so I called Burien Nissan at 4pm. I was asked if I could come in that day but was unable to do so and so I made an appt for Monday at 10AM to meet with Valentina to sell my car for the $16K. I arrived with my title in hand, both sets of keys and my car emptied out. Valentina sat down with me to do the paperwork. She kept the price section empty and I commented on this and mentioned that Irene told me that she would put the $16K in her notes and that James had verified that it was there. Valentina told me that the man in the cubicle needed to sign off on the deal. When he got off of the phone she took him the paperwork for him to sign off on the $16K. She came back to me and said that he couldn’t find the offer for $16K and was only willing to give me $15K. I asked her to have him look again as neither Irene nor James were physically in the office at that time, nor were either of them scheduled to come in that day. She went back and then returned to me and said that he couldn’t find it. So, I had her give me all the paperwork that we had been working on, took my title and my keys and WALKED out the door. Clearly: office communication is an issue. I felt very abused by this process. To receive a letter offering “up to $6K over blue book value” that was clearly designed to get me in the dealership, then have the letter writer not respond to voice messages, not be physically present for an appointment etc all screams customer disrespect to me. My car was 5 years old but only had $14K miles on it, so I should have been a candidate for an offer over blue book value. The time it took me to drive back and forth to Burien Nissan (twice) was a complete waste. I felt manipulated, disrespected, and abused. I will not do business with this dealership again and I suggest that anyone else think twice about trusting an offer that is “in the computer”.
If you needed a “should I go there?” Sign -This is it!!
I had a tricky situation with my last vehicle to where I thought I was stuck. I was in communications with Valentina for awhile but I knew my situation was a tough one (trust me)
Once I got the call from Valentina I felt heard and important! The fact she was the one that reached out to me, telling me she was going to help I never doubted her. She got me in a perfect match of what I was looking for same day and made sure I left all my stress in my last car! Just an amazing women, not just a sales personnel she is someone who expressed concern and genuinely wanted to help-
she did it perfectly! I can’t thank her enough!
Pete (finance) was amazing. Straight to the point, no run around got me in and out!
This experience was so amazing my husband came back next day to purchase a vehicle! All paper work handled by Valentina and her team, with the help of Cindy couldn’t have been any better! Made us feel like family!
Would recommend and I’m proud to say I bought my vehicle from Burien Nissan!
Thank you to the team :)
Came in for an oil change and left with my driver side wheel lose.
when I got on the freeway hitting 50 to 60 mils an hr, the car started shaking and making weird loud noise from the front drivers side so I went back to ask them to take a look at it but they said all they did was change the oils and nothing else and if they do a diagnosis I would have to leave the car and pay $255, I went to les Schwab two days later and they told me my front drivers side wheel was loose and thats what was causing the car shaking and noises i was hearing that I never heard before taking my car into this establishment, I tried speaking to the manager to see what they can do because now I have to replace the whole wheel and they still denied of any wrong doing, when I came in with a car for a oil change and clearly left with a different issue. Manager was very consistent with denying, at first saying we never touch the tired all we did was oils change to than saying “ we couldn’t get the tires off”. Very unprofessional, the front desk lady is also full of herself and kept inserting herself and giving dirty looks when my conversation was engaged with the manager, very unprofessional place. I do not recommend for anybody, unless you want your cars to breakdown and have problems stay away from this place.
