- LCL CampbellApr 13, 20261.0I stopped by for an oilchange on a Sunday and since they were busy went to the waiting room to wait till someone was available to talk with me about the cost of an oilchange. The waiting room was nice enough except the automatic air freshener. The smell was pretty strong and after another huge burst of unneeded scent I could not take it anymore and went back to my car. I did learn that the oilchange I wanted "started at 105$ or so for a full synthetic, which is reasonable so I thought I was good to go. When I was asked to pull forward into a bay I asked about the cost of an oilchange and was immediately quoted 30$ more because of taxes and fees. No explanation just pay or leave. Easy choice. Never going back. They responded with an invitation for me to go to their specific website and relay everything I just said with my avalibility so they can contact me at my convince. Let me say again. I am never going back. With the smallest bit of effort you can see that I found a valvoline not far that I will be going to as long as I live in the area. Mainly due to the lack of surprise fees. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Take your website and shove it.
