  ** WARNING** Terrible experience at Valvoline Instant Oil Change – 14001 NE 20th St, Bellevue, WA. On December 11, 2025, my tenant took her car here for a routine oil change. When she drove home, oil leaked everywhere because the technicians failed to properly tighten the oil filter, leaving several large oil stains on my asphalt driveway. This could cause long-term damage to the surface if not cleaned up. I called the store manager immediately to report the issue and requested that Valvoline send someone to clean up the spilled oil. The manager refused to provide contact information for the area manager and offered no solution for the cleanup. The next day, my tenant returned to the location. The staff admitted their mistake and tightened the filter—but they neglected to replenish the significant amount of oil that had leaked out, leaving the engine dangerously low (dipstick showed less than half). Valvoline opened a case number, but to this day (over a month later), no one from the area management team has had the courtesy, integrity, or courage to contact me, follow up, or address the mess they caused on my property. This level of negligence and poor customer service is unacceptable—especially from a company that handles critical vehicle maintenance. I STRONGLY ADVISE avoiding this location to prevent potential engine AND property damage issues.

  Being an athlete, I loved seeing how these guys and gals ran their shop. They were constantly communicating, coaching each other up, having a good time, and EXTREMELY professional. Not sure what all of these people do outside of work, but I’m sure they are all upstanding citizens, and full of potential! Kudos to Jack and his team!

  The customer service provided was exceptionally poor. The individual with the locs displayed a lack of education and exhibited aggressive behavior. As a result, oil was spilled on my SUV.

  One of the worst oil changing experience. I went there to change the oil for my vehicle I waited 1h 30min for my turn though they say in their ads it’s only 15 min. After it they took my odometer with a wrong value and I got the receipt and told the employee the value is wrong and it’s way to more from the current value, he said he will fix it but he didn’t and now it’s on my carfax. It’s been a whole week for me trying to fix it with carfax and still not fixed and might take months. Anw I don’t recommend this place at all.

  I’ve been coming to Valvoline for over 10 years and I’ve always appreciated their professionalism and amazing customer service. Thanks Wayne and the team in Bellevue Edit to my previous post. After leaving Valvoline my car about two blocks and immediately started rattling. I immediately contacted them and I was told to bring my car back the next day. I returned the next day and my oil change was done again but that did not resolve the issue and while waiting for my oil change to be redone my check engine light came on for the first time. I called customer care filed a claim. I was supposed to be hearing from the manager Wayne by Wednesday and he finally called me Friday. Came out to my office space looked at my car and stated I needed to have it seen by a mechanic. Today I had my car looked at and the lifters in my engine are messed up. My mechanic stated he could see there was some discrepancies with my oil change and could visibly see where the oil was wiped off and my plug was damaged. I am waiting for Alex, Wayne's boss to contact me. This is not OK Valvoline and I will be taking this the whole way until my car is repaired and you guys pay for my repairs.
