Dec. 31st, 2025 @ 3pm. Long line, one counter person to help customers. Took 20 mins to be helped. The counter guy tries to tell me which spark plugs I need, Brand wise, like I'm a rookie cause I'm female. I've done my research. I know what I want and why. Then asked him if they were pre-gapped. He said yes. I asked where the plug gapper guage was cause I needed a new one to check them and be sure before installing. He rolled his eyes and took a deep breath. Then he tells me I shouldn't need to check and that it's risky cause I could mess up the gap. Lol. Again, WHY? Cause I'm a woman? I just laughed. Ive been my own mechanic for over 20 yrs. Well better to check since it will be MY problem if it's not correct. Sooo I get home and carefully check each plug.... pack of 4 was good, 2nd pack of 4 all gapped wrong. Correct gap, 0.040 4 pack was almost at 0.050. Anybody have an idea what kinda problem I would have if I would have taken his word for it? I understand it wouldn't have been his fault, But DO NOT give bad advice or just be like Orielys and Don't give any advice. I don't need no rookie trying to sell me anythang or talk me out of checking the parts first. Lol.

Poor knowledge of basic parts/service. I requested the staff member set aside the proper hose clamp to go with the radiator I ordered so that my 65 year old mother could pick it up for me to repair her car. I was told “I’m not able to do that, I’m not good with radiators.” Anyone with a 9th grade shop class education can deduce that nearly any hose clamp would work. This process is considerably more elementary when one is literally holding the radiator in question. It’s sad that Autozone hasn’t instilled the necessity of a helpful , can-do attitude into their staff. It would be better if their store was staffed by a self-checkout machine. Napa is a good alternative and not far away.

After laying my bike down in the rain one day I broke my crankshaft cover and was pretty much out of commission. And even though AutoZone is not a motorcycle parts store I went into discover anything I could that would help and I found a friendly staff with helpful suggestions and even loan me tools to do the repairs I needed to do to get the bike movable. Jason I believe the supervisor and if not you should be was most kind and even offered to keep the store open a little longer if I needed him to. I don't give many reviews and never five-star reviews so believe me when I say this auto parts store deserves all five stars. On a side note my bike is still limping along, broken crankshaft cover and all, 2 weeks later.
