- MCmichella cornellaJul 14, 20231.0One star is too many. Long story short, do not go here. We had a insanely horrible experience throughout the whole process. We were lied to multiple times. They called to tell me my car was done and told me I needed to bring a new battery with me because “they had been jumpstarting my car almost the entire time they had it there” but they didn’t tell a single thing about this. I talked to them weekly for over 4 weeks and they didn’t mention a single thing about it until the day they called to tell my car was done. Seems like a pretty important detail to leave out, unless they were at fault and purposely didn’t tell me they were jumpstarting my car for weeks.

The phone rang, she asked if it was OK that she put the call on hold. I said of course. She thanked me. She awnsered the asked if they could hold, then said oh sure. Then came back to helping me. A couple seconds later I heard a man say. Why did you send that call to me. The receptionist replied because he asked for you directly. The the man said. And you don't ask any follow up with questions. The receptionist said next time I will ask all kinds of questions in a playful way. Then I heard the man yelling at her saying why are you giving me attitude. The poor receptionist still trying to be happy and sweet. Responded please let me finish helping my customer then you can yell at me. I told her I was sorry she was being spoke to like this. Still trying to be happy and kind. Apologized to me for having to hear it. I wasn't going to say anything, but I can't get it out of my mind. All she did was transfer a call. She didn't deserve to be treated this way. Shame on you Gerber for hiring managers that talk to their employees like this. Especially ones that a clearly trying their best to do a good job.
