- SCSydney Clark2 days ago1.0I had an unfortunate situation while visiting my daughter at UVM. It led me to need two driver side windows. Customer service originally was fantastic and they let me leave my car at their location in Williston until the glass could be installed the following week. I dropped my car off on Thursday and it was due to be finished by the following Wednesday. My daughter was to pick it up to drive it home. The day it was supposed to be installed, (Tuesday) I got a text that I had a new appointment for two days later (Thursday). When I questioned the customer service woman, I was met with hostility and accusations that I was changing things at the last minute when in fact, they changed the appointment due to broken glass that they received and never let me know. The woman at the front desk, actually started yelling at me and started to cry and hung up on me. Fortunately, they were able to get a new piece of glass in and it was fixed by the time my daughter needed to pick it up. She then drove it back home, 6 1/2 hours, to New Jersey. When it got home, the car was still full of glass, still had sticky residue from the tape that was covering my broken window, and new scratches on my car. A manager was supposed to call me in regards to the poor customer service, but no one ever reached out. I would not use this Safelite location again.
