  The day I was scheduled to get a rental at a local auto body shop they brought a car for another customer but didn't have one for me. The woman working at Clarks asked the enterprise representative if I could rent their Nissan they had there on site. He said he had to check, made a phone call came back inside and said yes that would be fine he just had to go and get the paperwork. I waited for him for almost two hours, and the whole time and the last hour the woman at Clarks was attempting to call enterprise with no answer. I had to go so we reset everything up for the following day. The next day the vehicle was there on time the. A little kia, smelling of cigarettes, with summer tires, but at that point I'd take anything. It did the job except for the few snow storms we had in February that I could not make it to work or home. I returned the vehicle and was told I would get my deposit back in 2-3 business days. I called every week for another 4 weeks to inquire about the deposit and was told the same thing every time, that it looked like they did not close the account and I would receive the deposit in 2-3 days. After the last time I called and was told the same line (a month after I returned the rental) they charged my card again for an additional $114 with no notice. Almost all of the staff I interacted with is friendly though.

  Attendants literally just let the phone ring. I dont blame them. There are only 2 of them running around town delivering cars. I called and called no answer, no leaving a message option. Also I need a vehicle with winter tires and AWD. This is Vermont! Hello!?!? Tires have very minimal tread on them. Come on Enterprise!!

  I made a reservation at least a week if not more in advance for a vehicle comparable to what I currently am driving, a mini van. I have 4 children and NEED a 3rd row vehicle. I called the morning of my arranged time to pick up the vehicle and was assured by Nate that I would have a 3rd row vehicle. They showed up in a Hyundai Elantra. This obviously will not work so I got moved to a Mitsubishi Sport. Was told that in 3 days I would be in a bigger vehicle, equipped to transport my children. It has now been 6 days and I am still stuck in a vehicle that cannot adequately or safely transport us. I have made phone calls, emails and even went in person. All to be told they have nothing for me. My daily driver is in the body shop and unsure when I will be getting this vehicle back. So now I am stuck in a small SUV, with no third row and unable to fit a car seat and a booster seat in the back seats along with another child back there. 0/10. Will never use enterprise again if I can help it.

  Whats wrong with these people? 0 stars all the way! It’s end of January 2026. In vt it snows! Who rents cars with tires like this to a young driver after a major snow storm? Enterprise does! Shame on you! When I called to complain I was told Those are the standard car tire. Their standard! Nobody in their right mind drives northern vt roads on tires like this. Do better! Or a least use your head and stop padding your wallet. Go south with your business if you dont want to rent winter ready cars in Vermont!
