One of the employees even called me ahead of time to let me know that one of my pickup items wasn’t available and offered an alternative—super thoughtful. The two men at the register who assisted me also gave genuinely helpful car-maintenance advice (#SimpleDIYGirlieTryingToSave$$). Apparently, the two young, broccoli-head-looking male customers behind me didn’t agree, judging by their snarky comment as they got into their vehicle. The employees had advised them that the battery charger they wanted to buy wouldn’t work for their tune-up project. Even after the customers asked, “If it doesn’t work, can I return it?” the employees followed up with the completely reasonable question: “Well, what are you trying to do?” Because… why wouldnt it work? If those two leave a negative review—this is to discredit that. Best customer experience I’ve ever had at an AutoZone!
