- JHJamar HenryJan 30, 20265.0There are bosses and then are leaders. Leaders have a servant heart. I called in during a stressful situation and ultimately I ended up speaking with Robert. I had a need for a battery due to my battery not wanting to start my car in this cold weather leaving me stuck. Robert went above and beyond in getting me that battery at crunch time after closing to get me on my way. I am more than appreciative of him and his service. When I think advance, I’m coming to this store over the rest when able too first. Thanks Robert!! May the Lord bless you!

I stop by to get break pads for my vehicle and I asked some questions but he was not supportive and he didn’t cooperate. He was so impatient and disrespectful and finally he refused to sell the product. Did even the Advance Auto Parts know how much they are disrespectful to the customer.

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
