  I went to the Waynesboro Valvoline oil change, and had a wonderful experience with all members The team. Alex, who worked the clipboard and did many other parts of my vehicle was very friendly and informative. I will be back for the works next time and hopefully I will have Alex in the same crew.

  Driving through from NC to PA so I stopped in for oil change and wiper replacement. Charged for windshield wipers and they were never installed. Realized this after being 45 minutes away. Called and was put through to customer service. They wanted to refund the price of the parts, but she was unsure if this was included in the labor charge and had to calculate the sales tax only after I asked about it. Overall a decent experience that turned bad with poor customer service after they made a mistake. I’m pretty sure their AI would’ve tried to make it up better to me than a live rep. Go to Take 5 oil change nearby instead.

  Alex (and the entire team) was great! Everything was very and they were super professional. I didn’t feel forced even though I know nothing about that kind of stuff! They were great. Will recommend and return!

  I’ve gone to this location several times and every time it’s been a good experience. Even when busy, I’ve always had someone come out to talk to me and let me know an estimated time-frame. Everyone is super polite and helpful! Stopped in most recently today and had Jackson and Micah helping me out. Really appreciated them being so kind and friendly first thing in the morning.

  I had one of the most unexpectedly positive experiences of my life at Valvoline in Waynesboro. I was driving from Richmond to West Virginia when my oil pressure sensor light came on. This had happened a few days earlier, and I had already spent a significant amount of money with a mechanic I trusted to “fix” it. When the light came on again, I pulled into Valvoline about 15 minutes before closing and asked if they could simply check my oil level. If it was low, I planned to buy oil and get back on the road. What happened over the next 25 minutes (well after closing time) felt a bit like Cinderella when all the birds and mice whirl in and make everything right. When they checked the dipstick, the top handle broke off. Their immediate response, when they thought they had broken it, was professional and accountable. But then they realized it had been super glued back on. That’s when we all started to piece together that I may not have received the repairs I paid for days earlier. They didn’t stop there. They found an air intake hose that had been unscrewed and never tightened. They found my oil pan was loose, which could absolutely explain the oil pressure issue. At every step, they educated me about what they were seeing and what it meant. They took their time. They answered my questions. They treated me with respect. Because some of what they uncovered required more extensive repairs than they offer, they even called their Richmond branch to ask for a recommendation for a mechanic they trust. Most importantly, they made sure my car was safe enough for me to get home. When it became clear that the dipstick had been glued back together, I felt embarrassed, disempowered, and taken advantage of. I think many women know that feeling when dealing with car repairs. But I left Valvoline feeling the opposite: empowered, informed, and confident about my next steps. These men were literal heroes to me that night. They were generous with their knowledge, their time, and their skill. In an era when it can feel like everyone is just trying to sell you something, they did the exact opposite. They focused on my safety, not on making a sale. I’m genuinely tempted to drive the hour and a half back to Waynesboro just to get my oil changed there. Since that’s not practical, I’ll instead say this: if you’re local, go here. You can trust the professionalism, the attention to detail, and the integrity of this team. I’m forever grateful.
