I rented a car on 1/16/2026 from this location. I completed all documents online before arrival. We were greeted by a young man, who was very welcoming and professional. He asked if I would like to add $25 for insurance and explained what it was for in detail. We accepted. He took us to our car, a Chevy Malibu. As he was walking the car with us, we pointed out front end damage. He said it was already documented. He also said to bring the car back at little over half tank of gas. I drove this car to Front Royal, VA and my boyfriend followed me in my car for my personal vehicle to be serviced at a mechanic. As pur car was being serviced, we drove the rental to The Apple House for lunch. We pulled the rental into a forward facing spot, with no other cars around. We went and picked up my personal vehicle when service work was completed. My boyfriend followed me back to drop the rental car off. We stopped in Marshall, VA to put gas in. I filled the tank to 3/4, which was well over what we received the vehicle at. Upon arrival at Enterprise, I pulled the vehicle up to the front door. I was greeted by a lady who said I had to wait for the car to have its walk around. I then proceeded outside to wave at my boyfriend to come inside the business to sit with me. The lady then stated she doesn't do the walk around upon return. A few minutes later, she walked outside with a clipboard and said she could do the walk around but couldn't sign off on it. Within the next few minutes she said we were good to go. I asked about the walk around to inspect the vehicle, and she again said whoever was supposed to do it, did it and we were good. I asked about anything that needed signed, and she again said we were fine. We left. Within the next 45 minutes, I received a call from Enterprise. During this call, my conversation dropped service. Within 3 minutes, I called Enterprise back. The young man asked if we were aware of the front end damage. I said yes, and when we accepted the vehicle, the man who walked around the vehicle pointed it out as well. I firmly stated "WE DID NOT DAMAGE THIS VEHICLE, IT WAS DAMAGED WHEN WE ACCEPTED IT." He apologized and thanked us, and that was the end of conversation. I deleted my 5 star review from yesterday when we left, and marked it down to 2 stars. The 2 stars is for the young man upon arrival who exceeded our expectations. Im almost 50 years old and have never had one accident in my entire life. I do not have any tickets on my record either! How dare this place accuse me of front end damage to a vehicle I accepted with the said damage! And they acknowledged it!!!! I will not recommend this location and will not use this location ever again! Did the employees not want to complete the check out process with me to "pin" the said damage upon arrival to my account? Extremely upset with this whole rental ordeal!!! And shame on the woman who encouraged us to leave without a final walk around upon drop off!!!!
