No one bothered to tell me upfront that the crack might not disappear—very misleading. Customer service was rude and completely uninterested in helping, and the price was much higher than other shops. The technician even demanded payment before doing the job, despite Safelite’s website saying payment is due afterward. Completely unprofessional. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. There are plenty of companies that charge far less and actually care about their customers.

At least I was saved from a 6th unnecessary trip. Oh and my windshield sat there for 2 weeks but kept being told it was on order until I physically went to the shop and asked questions. Lastly they don’t inspect the replacement windshield before you arrive for your appointment as the first windshield was broken. Highly recommend Safelite but not the VA Bch blvd location
- TBTriton BNov 17, 20253.0I contacted Safelite to get my windshield replaced because I got a traffic ticket for a large crack in my windshield. The first appointment, they brought the wrong windshield, which may have been my fault for putting the wrong model of vehicle. However, they wrote down the part number and vin number for my vehicle and at the 2nd appointment, still brought an incorrect windshield. On the 3rd appointment, they finally had the right one and was able to replace it. If it hadn’t taken as long as it did to find the right part, I would have no complaints. Service was great, technicians were friendly and professional.
- STSuditi De TrinidadNov 10, 20255.0Little did I know that the Hickory tree at my new house would be as bad as a hail storm… but a windy day led to three cracks in my windshield! I was pretty resigned to having to make an hour long journey for the repair when I looked into Safelite Auto Glass and found they would make the trip to my house on the eastern shore of Virginia! The website was easy to navigate, and by entering my information I got a quote and it determined it would be less than my insurance deductible. Unfortunately, the new windshield had minor damage, and a second appointment had to be arranged, but that wasn’t a huge deal for me compared to the convenience of them coming back out to my house. The windshield was replaced four days later. There were some varying quotes, which included an attempt at an upsell of wipers and a filter, But all quotes were less than my deductible and once I turned down the upsell, the final bill was about $125 less than I expected. Both technicians were friendly and efficient and the price quite fair. I would definitely use Safelite again.

They charge me $466.87 for a back glass to a 2006 Mercedes Benz C230 sport for them not to even have it..They have a option to do afterpay and they don’t even honor it or allow you to add the money to do the 4 payments.. so I paid upfront just for them to not have my glass and make me wait 2 weeks even sent me text messages saying the technician was on the way ( they literally lied to me about having my glass) on the 13 day a operator callled me and told me they had to reschedule due to them not having the type of glass I had and it would be 7 to 8 business days more so I asked for my money back.. I ended up getting a back glass from another company called Audio Glass now and they charge me $388.47 ,ordered my glass got it shipped from North Carolina and installed it in 3 days. FACTS..Cheaper and more reliable..if you’re planing to shop with this company I would strongly suggest to not shop with them and SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH AUDO GLASS NOW. Safelite Dose bad business… pl
