    I am writing this review to document one of the most unacceptable car buying experiences I have ever had, and it occurred at Hall Honda. I purchased a used 2018 Honda Accord EX-L from Hall Honda on January 7th, 2026 in good faith. I was told the vehicle had a clean Carfax. I was told it had been inspected. I was told it was safe and ready for the road. Yes, there was a disclosed open recall and I signed the acknowledgement. However, what no customer should ever experience is what happened next. Within hours of driving this vehicle off the lot, the car lost power while I was driving. I was stranded. The vehicle had to be towed back to Hall Honda shortly after purchase. After inspection by Hall Honda’s own service department, I was informed that this was not a small issue. The vehicle had suffered catastrophic engine failure. I was told the car has a blown head gasket and requires major internal engine work including timing chain related repairs. In plain terms, this car should never have been sold to anyone in the condition it was in. Let me be very clear. This was not a cosmetic issue. This was not a minor repair. This was a serious mechanical failure that made the vehicle unsafe to drive and completely undeliverable. This means one of two things is true. Either the vehicle was never properly inspected before being sold, or Hall Honda knew or should have known there were serious mechanical problems and sold it anyway. Both are unacceptable. This situation cost me significant time, forced me to arrange alternate transportation, disrupted my work schedule, and created a completely avoidable safety risk. No customer should ever be placed in a position where a vehicle fails catastrophically within hours of purchase. What made this experience even worse is how it was handled afterward. Instead of immediately unwinding the deal or taking full responsibility for selling a mechanically unfit vehicle, I was pushed toward a 2016 model with an older body style that I clearly stated I was not interested in. When I explained that I did not want that body style, the tone of the conversation changed and there was no longer any interest in discussing meaningful concessions. I was also shown a newer 2020 Accord as an alternative, but it was another high mileage vehicle priced at full market value. Despite everything that had just happened, there was no meaningful flexibility on price and no serious effort to acknowledge the risk or inconvenience I had already been put through. At that point it became clear that the goal was not to make this right, but simply to move me into another car on terms that were favorable to the dealership. In other words, once it became clear that I would not accept a car I did not want, the willingness to discuss concessions or take real responsibility effectively disappeared. This experience has completely shaken my confidence not only in Hall Honda, but in the standards being applied to vehicles sold under the Honda name at this location. Honda is supposed to represent reliability, quality, and trust. This experience represented none of those things. Selling a vehicle that suffers catastrophic engine failure within hours of purchase is not bad luck. It is a failure of process, inspection, and accountability. I am sharing this so other customers can make informed decisions, and so Honda corporate understands that Hall Honda is putting people on the road in vehicles that are not fit to be driven and then refusing to take responsibility when those vehicles fail. This was not just an inconvenience. This was a serious safety issue. And it should never happen to anyone. The image below is a screenshot from a video.     Tanisha was phenomenal, patient, kind and attentive. She was also very courteous and listened making her able to hear my wants and assess my needs. I usually purchase cars cash to avoid the hassle and haggling of the sales rep but I am glad to have worked with Tanisha. She made me feel heard, valued and wise in my choice. She didn’t just sell me any car, she walked me through my own thoughts to process the car that I wanted. I wouldn’t recommend another sales representative. If she isn’t the sales lead she should be. Her effective communication and attention to detail exudes excellence, leadership, teamwork and dependability. If it was not for Tanisha I know without a doubt I would not have purchased my car. If you want to purchase a car with clarity, precision, understanding and peace of mind you have to ask for Tanisha specifically, the T Effect is like none other.

    The mechanic shop at Hall Honda is spectacular. My car always gets excellent service at the best price. I know when I give them my keys my car is in good hands and I don’t have to worry about it coming back and something is falling off 🤣. I need to give a specific thank you to Jovan. He’s always super respectful and helpful and yesterday I was in a stressed mood and he helped me fix my problem for a great price. I couldn’t be more appreciative I can now go and work this week and have no issues. Other mechanic shops just want as much money as possible it’s literally depressing trying to get my car together at other shops. So thank you Hall Honda. I will never go somewhere else again!

    Right from the beginning Hall Honda dealt with us honestly and fairly. Don Blea listened and understood our needs. He immediately honored the price we discussed and gave a fair market quote for the car we were trading in. He addressed all of our concerns quickly, being respectful of our time and opinions. Jason Dela Cruz, our sales associate was kind, courteous and friendly. We felt like we would have hung out with him even if we weren't buying a car. He expertly guided us through the purchase process. He presented options without selling them, letting us make a decision on what we needed or wanted. If you want courteous, kind, fair, transparent, and honest -- come to Hall Honda.

    11/14/2025 Unfortunately, I have to update my review of this dealership. Not long after purchasing my car (after 7 days but less than 30.) bugs (specifically ROACHES) were showing up in the car. I text my salesperson to inquire if they knew; she said they didn't. Eventually a manager, Steve, call me who suggested that the bugs were from me; I felt very insulted. My salesperson, Dee, later informed me that they would detail the car. They had my car for a few day and Dee said they found the source and would bomb and detail the car thoroughly. At the time I expressed that I was not comfortable keeping the car. Eventually, we landed on exchanging the vehicle for same year and model. Initially, I was going to come down on 10/23 sign all the paper work for the exchange and be done. However, when i arrived, the paper was not ready; we settled on dealer tags until the following Monday. I called Monday - no update, Tuesday - no update Wednesday - they finally said Oh we can just exchange the car despite that being the initial plan (I have the text message from the Salesperson). I went back to pick up my original vehicle). The issue was then escalated to a Sales Manager Marcus who very rude and refused to let me talk. After going back and forth with no avail; I spoke with Steve again - I asked about trading the car in (NO WANTS TO DRIVE AROUND WITH ROACHES IN THEIR CAR - YES THEY WERE STILL POPPING UP AFTER A PISS POOR DETAIL). Finally, we worked on the details of trading the vehicle in, same type of car, but I would have to put another $1000 down; I reluctantly agreed to get rid of the roach mobile. I set an appointment to complete the process; I confirm with the salesperson to make sure we were good to go and she confirm. HOWEVER, about 2 hours before the appointment she texted to say, oh I received some 'bad information' and that they financed amount would be lower - therefore I was not able to exchange the vehicle. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service, the constant sharing of misinformation and the disregard to satisfied/rectify this issue. BUYER BEWARE - YOU MIGHT HAVE ROACHES IN YOUR CAR....DOUBLE/TRIPLE CHECK!!!
