- JRJune RobinsonMay 6, 20251.0On 4/15 at around 7:30 pm I used the Green Clean on Shore Drive. The following morning, I discovered numerous scratches along the entire top and down the hood of my car. Did not see them the night before because it was dusk at the time that I went to the car wash. Understandably upset, I immediately contacted Green Clean. My initial interaction was with a young man who was helpful in guiding me through the incident report process. During this process, He revealed a crucial piece of information: he mentioned that the machine had been stopped the previous evening due to a fishhook being caught in the soft strips. He explained that this was a common occurrence due to the number of trucks with fishing poles that frequented the car wash, and that it was likely they had missed a hook, which could have caused the scratches. He also took pictures of my car while completing the incident report. However, and this is a key point, I was never shown these pictures and therefore remain uncertain as to how well they documented the extent and nature of the scratches. Unfortunately, my claim was subsequently denied. While I understand that the claims department cited my delay in reporting the damage until the following morning as a contributing factor to the denial, I believe there are significant details that warrant further consideration. I have been since April 15 trying to get someone in management to respond back to me. I even googled and believe I found the district managers email and emailed him and no response. Would never deal with this company again because you can’t get a hold of anybody in management. And truly believe my claim was denied when they are responsible. Terrible customer service

Plus, the car vacuums were available on either side of each parking spot, making it very convenient to get the inside of my car cleaned too.

What can I expect?
We strive to provide the industry’s best, high-quality, and eco-friendly express wash experience available! After selecting your wash at our convenient payment kiosk, one of our experienced Crew Members will help guide you into our wash tunnel. We’ll ask you to put your car in neutral, and then simply sit back and enjoy your wash. At the end of the wash tunnel, during the drying cycle, an electronic sign will notify you when it is safe to put your car into Drive to exit the wash.
Are you a touchless car wash?
Our washes use the most state-of-the-art gentle wash material called EnviroSoft. It is a brushless (but not touchless) cleaning technology that cannot scratch or damage your car. Please feel free to ask our onsite staff any questions before you wash— we are happy to further explain our wash process!
What types of vehicles do you wash?
Our vehicle clearance is 7’2”. Our conveyor tracks support a tire width of up to 13.5 inches, and we cannot accept trucks with dual wheels or vehicles over 85 inches wide. For the safety of our customers, team members, and wash equipment, we cannot wash vehicles with bike/scooter/wheelchair/utility racks. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Do you recycle water?
We are proud to offer an environmentally friendly wash that saves 100+ gallons of water per wash vs. driveway washing. As a participating member of the WaterSavers® program, our wash process uses an on-demand timing system that profiles and measures your vehicle delivering water precisely to your vehicle's surface. Our wash water is then captured and routed into our extensive reclamation system. This system treats the water removing all solids and contaminates and redelivers to the vehicle. This system allows us to safely and effectively wash your vehicle with less than 20 gallons of fresh water.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes, for our single washes we accept cash, Green Clean Express gift cards, and all major credit and debit cards as forms of payment for our single washes. For our Unlimited Wash Club, we require a major credit or debit card.
Are your vacuums truly FREE?
Yes!
Do you offer interior or exterior detailing?
As an express wash, we do not offer interior or exterior detailing services. We invite you to visit our free vacuum lot to clean your vehicle’s interior and offer a wide range of car cleaning supplies (dash wipes, bug & tar remover cloths, microfiber drying towels, wheel cleaning sprays, and air fresheners, to name a few) all competitively priced.
What if I am not satisfied with my wash?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your wash experience and offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Please see a staff member following your wash if you are unsatisfied and we will offer a rewash immediately. If you are still unsatisfied with your rewash, we will offer a refund.
Is Green Clean Express Auto Wash a Franchise?
We are proud to be a locally owned and operated business and do not currently offer franchise opportunities.
