This public EVgo charging station in Virginia Beach provides fast charging for all major electric vehicles. Located on 1725 Laskin Rd, it's near Sherwin-Williams Paint Store, Outback Steakhouse. The site offers 24/7 access, is ADA-compliant, and supports both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors. While charging, drivers can visit nearby shops or grab food within walking distance. Customers can use the EVgo app to check charger availability, track sessions, and view Time-of-Use pricing where available. It's a convenient and reliable option for both local drivers and those passing through the area.
These chargers are down A LOT, completely unreliable.

One of the two charging stations (Roger) was non-functional although it did not provide any alert to us as to that. The second station worked fine.

Good fast charging spot in a pinch. However, I’d use the charger closest to Trader Joe’s and not the one towards First Colonial. Sometimes, it stops charging mid way through and you have to restart it. This can be inconvenient if you leave your car to charge while shopping. I’ve had to report the stop charge several times to EVgo. Other than that, it’s a good fast charging site for your EV.
