I called yesterday to make a vehicle reservation and was told that a Chevrolet Equinox would be available for pickup at 10:00 a.m. Today, while I was en route to pick up the vehicle, I received a call informing me that the only vehicle available was a pickup truck, which was not suitable for my family. It appeared that the reserved vehicle had been given away. I was then told that a Toyota Highlander would be available at 11:00 a.m., pending cleaning, and that I would receive a call once it was ready. I waited for that call and, when I had not heard anything by 12:00 p.m., I called to check on the status—only to discover that the store was closed. I was never informed that the store closed at noon. Had I known, I would have called earlier. Instead, I relied on the assurance that I would receive a call when the vehicle was ready. This lack of communication and failure to honor a confirmed reservation was extremely unprofessional and inconvenient.
