  Definitely one of the best experiences of my life with one my vehicles. No exaggeration! I called and stated my issues with Latrice. She told me I could come in that day. As soon as I arrived they took my info, pulled my vehicle in, and told me everything that was wrong. The next day Jeremiah called me stating when all of my parts would be in and how long the job would take. That SAME DAY I picked up my truck with all of the work done right, complete, faster than I've ever experienced. The fact that they were so diligent, straightforward, and kind. I really appreciate these two and the rest of their team. Definitely will be taking my vehicles here from now on. These are ppl you can really depend on and trust! I cant thank them enough!! 😊

  As a family from Alabama, we ended up having vehicle issues as we headed home from visiting family the day after New Year’s. After calling around and speaking to a dealership, we were told it would take a month to fix and over $6k. Another local shop said it would be a week, if not more. We called AJS Automotive as a last ditch effort and we are forever thankful we did. Jeremiah, Leif, and Vinny went above and beyond to diagnose our issues. They allowed our family to spend time in their lobby without rushing us as we waited for a ride. The professionals at AJS stated that our lifters were stuck and one pushrod was bent. What could have been an even more expensive problem if we traveled further back home was more affordable than what was quoted by the other dealership and shop. What truly blew us away was the friendliness of the shop. Jeremiah quoted us a few options regarding replacing pieces versus a whole kit was refreshing. We felt like we were spending the afternoon with friends instead of at a mechanic shop. They even showed my husband around some of the other projects as he is a vehicle enthusiast! I only wish we lived in Virginia so we could use AJS on a regular basis. It’s a veteran owned and operated business which really hits home as my husband is also a Veteran.

  I strongly warn anyone from going to AJ’s. I brought my Jeep in on Oct 28 for an 8-hour transmission job, and they kept it for a full month with constant excuses, delays, and contradictory stories. After I approved a transmission replacement, they talked me into a fluid and filter change—then told me the transmission was bad anyway, costing me over $400 for wasted fluid. Every time I called, I was told something different: the torch ran out of oxygen, bolts were broken, the mechanic only worked a few hours a day, etc. I asked for a quote on shocks several times and the manager “forgot” every time. I told them I needed my Jeep by Nov 22; it wasn’t ready until Nov 24. When I picked it up, there was ATF all over the engine bay and leaking under the Jeep. They still charged me over $400 for tow and diagnostics, even after I had already paid $8,000 for the transmission. They insisted the leak was “motor oil” even though I had pictures. The Jeep then wouldn’t even go into Park—it rolled forward while parked. The manager couldn’t get it into Park either, and the mechanic refused to come look at it because his “hands were dirty.” This is the second time they’ve kept one of my vehicles for months, and I will never go back. I lost all trust in this shop and traded the Jeep in immediately. The dealership will now have to fix the mistakes AJ’s made. Terrible communication, long delays, excuses, and poor workmanship. Avoid this place.
