I had a good experience with them. My insurance suggested them. The only drawback is with their communication system. No one picks the phone on the number provided on the website. Please improve that and even the technician does not answer the phone.

Easy appointment set up, with the convenience pf the service at my house. Travis arrived, was friendly and professional. He replaced the windshield quickly and made sure the inspection sticker and ezpass were remounted.

Wish I could give 0 stars. I scheduled an appointment for 2/7 arrival between 8-1pm. At 12:50 I ask where my technician is and am informed my technician will arrive between 1-5pm. I did not schedule for between 1-5pm because I have plans and cannot be waiting around all day and I’m frustrated because I’ve already been waiting around for half the day. So I decide to call and see what’s going on. Now here’s where everything really turns for the worst. The lady on the phone had the fakest nice girl voice and honestly when you’re calling with an issue, hearing that fake as day voice is really unpleasant and annoying. So anyways, I ask her what’s going on where is my technician I didn’t schedule for 1-5 arrival and I have plans and can’t wait around. This is when she tells me she’s showing my appointment is scheduled for the 11th. In her computer. I’m like excuses me??? What??? I have text message proof from Safelite confirming 2/7 8-1pm arrival window. If you guys can’t even manage your schedule on your end and come to customers when they scheduled then how are you going to run a business properly? I told the lady cancel my appointment and I will find another company that will actually show up to my scheduled appointment. So now I have to go another week with a broken windshield until next Saturday when I can find someone else to replace my windshield at my scheduled appointment time. Ridiculous.
The service was great! The method to schedule an appointment, to coordinating with auto insurance was seamless. Communication was constant through email and SMS. At the time of appointment, the wait for windshield and wiper blade replacements was reasonable. After the work was done, the Technician was able to thoroughly explain what happened, what needs to be done, what to avoid for the next few hours and what to expect, as well as what the warranty is. During check out, the Cashier was busy with another customer, so the same Technician was able to take over and do that part. Although the Technician indicated a receipt would be emailed, I never received one. Overall, I would recommend Safelite.

Extremely disappointed. I called yesterday due to getting a chip in my window while driving. I set up a mobile appointment for today. Unfortunately I was informed 2.5 hours before my appointment that the technician called in sick. I understand people get sick. Here are where the issues are. They emailed me instead of calling me. They automatically rescheduled me for tomorrow without my confirmation, which I’m unable to do because I specially was working from home today for this and need to be back in the office. It took me calling their shop 5 times and once to customer service before I was able to speak with someone. It then goes down hill from there. I inquired if one of their other locations could provide a technician. They’re unable to. I asked if they were to have an appointment in the shop, could I receive transportation home and back. Again they’re unable to. With my work, I can’t just pick up and do it at an unsecure location. Now I have to call around and work with my insurance again to see if they can cover another repair shop at the last minute. Unless the owner has real solutions to these ongoing problems that they’re having, a generic thanks for your feedback we’ll try to do better in the future responses aren’t worth it unless they fix it.
