  I have been taking my 3 cars to Valvoline in Stafford, VA and have been very pleased. However, on my recent trip, they told me they are no longer offering the standard oil, and I have to purchase the "extra grade" oil $20 more expensive. I wrote to Valvoline Corporate and they informed me that the Stafford, VA store is a franchise (which means they can change the rules). Valvoline corporate is still offering the standard oil at their locations, and pointed me to other "franchises" in the area that still offer the standard oil. Stafford is very convenient for me and hope the owner of this franchise will change their "policy" and not force us to pay an additional $20 for the "extra grade" oil. If you continue, you will lose a customer with 3 cars; not to mention I'm sure many other customers FORCED to purchase the higher grade oil. PLEASE put it back to the way it was, and let us choose the normal grade oil.

  was greeted by the manager, who came across as extremely cocky and lacking in basic customer service skills. The gentleman assisting me at the window informed me that my coolant was low and asked how much it would cost to top it off. Shortly after, he told me it had already been added. I made it clear that I did not agree to any additional service and would not be paying for something I hadn’t authorized. At that point, the technician performing the service became dismissive and spoke sharply to the employee helping me at the window. I want to be clear that I do not blame the gentleman at the window—he was simply relaying what he had been told. The entire interaction was confusing and unprofessional. My receipt indicates the coolant level was fine, yet I was told it was low, that it was added, and then later that it wasn’t. I’m left unsure whether my coolant was actually low at all. I’ve never had such a disappointing experience at Valvoline before, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location.

  the stafford team made my stop in super fast and easy. It only took 20 minutes to get my oil changed (last time it was closer to 2 hours).....they were wonderful, super friendly; super helpful with recommendations and it was a fantastic experience. Keep up the superb service you guys!

  Last weekend I stopped by to get an oil change. First visit. There was two cars in front of me and one inside being serviced. I waited for 30 minutes and never moved. An employee approached my truck and said the wait would be another 20 minutes? So, I left. This morning I was going to give this location a try again but started reading some of the reviews. Not good. There's a Jiffy Lube in Woodbridge VA that I usually go to. It's on my way home. 5 Star service every time and my total visit time from beginning to end is 20 minutes or less.
