- MSMaddie SmithDec 4, 20251.0I’ve been a loyal Valvoline customer for years and have always had good experiences, but my visit on 12/4/2025 was extremely disappointing. The staff were friendly and working hard, and I agreed to a recommended radiator coolant flush because the price was great. After the service, a tech had me run the heat on full blast, but no warm air came out. An engine coolant warning light immediately appeared. The tech told me it was “normal” and blamed air bubbles, but after leaving, the warning stayed on. I stopped at AutoZone and found my coolant reservoir completely empty. I had to buy coolant and fill it myself which was another $30 dollars. By the time I got home, the light came back on and the reservoir was almost empty again, requiring another top-off before things stabilized. This tells me the system was either not refilled or improperly serviced. This could have caused serious engine damage if I hadn’t checked it myself. On top of that, there was an unidentified fluid spilled throughout my engine bay and running down the sides of my car, which I had to clean off. In the many times I’ve visited Valvoline, I’ve never had an issue until now, but the severity of this mistake really shook my trust. I wanted to make you aware because the situation could have ended much worse.

- DDdiscopants224Dec 1, 20251.0Took my car in for an oil change. Was told the engine filter was dirty so I needed a new one. 35 dollars, 10 dollars more than what I could've done myself. Whatever I had it done. The filter was dirty, saw the supervisor come in and help install it and put the cap back on. Not a word saying the new filter was dirty handled with oily gloves. I expected more. Especially with a double the price oil change. 110 full synthetic when at home I could've done it for 50. I dont have the time now so I gave this place the benefit of the doubt.
