  Update: I am changing my original review from 01 star to a 4 star. I am however leaving the original post. After I made the original review the general manager reached out and made it right. The manager at the NTB also spoke to me personally and explained that they were just worried about damaging my vehicles wheel. I do have a very expensive vehicle with large rims for a sedan, but it is the stock set up size. I did buy tires from them at a tremendous discount. I will have them installed elsewhere. It should be noted that while they stuck to their guns and refused to install, they also went out of there way to make it right. Everyone was respectful and professional at all times. Original review: Last Wednesday, December 31st, I visited the NTB location in Stafford, VA to inquire about having tires installed on my 2017 Cadillac CTS-V. During that visit, the staff was helpful and professional. We selected Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S (All-Season) tires, which needed to be ordered due to lack of stock. To take advantage of NTB’s six-month interest-free financing, I applied for and was approved for the NTB (Mavis) credit card—something I would not have done otherwise. We then scheduled the installation appointment for Wednesday, January 7th. On Tuesday, January 6th, I called the store to confirm that the tires had arrived. I was told they had and asked whether I could drop the car off that same day. I was explicitly told yes. I took the morning off from work and drove my vehicle to the Stafford NTB location. As a standard precaution that I take at every service facility, I recorded a brief video of my carbon-fiber components to document their condition at drop-off. This is not unusual, nor is it confrontational—it is simply documentation. Immediately upon entering the store, I was informed that NTB would not install the tires, though they would still sell them to me. I can only assume implicitly and explicitly—that my refusal of service was due to me documenting my vehicle. To be clear: I believe I was denied installation service solely because I documented my car’s condition. This is unacceptable. As a result: • I wasted valuable work time • I was approved for a credit card I will now never use • I was denied service by a tire shop that was, inexplicably, unwilling to install tires The implication that documenting a vehicle somehow justifies refusing service is both absurd and unprofessional. Apparently, owning a higher-end vehicle—or expecting accountability—is enough for NTB to decline work. I am attaching proof of my approval for the NTB (Mavis) credit card to demonstrate the extent of the inconvenience caused. This experience reflects extremely poorly on NTB and Mavis.   Your typical car place. I went in for a tire plug and ended up paying $1300…probably for unnecessary labor and of course it took a full day to complete.
