    I recently had a frustrating experience at this location while attempting to return a thermostat. To clarify, the thermostat (the actual item being returned) was inside the box in its sealed plastic bag. I had also placed a separate housing piece inside the box — this housing was not originally part of the packaged product. It was an extra piece I brought with me. When I first came in, three employees looked at the item. However, they only examined the separate housing piece that I had placed in the box. They did not remove the thermostat from the plastic bag or inspect the actual part that was being returned. Instead, they focused on the housing and made comments about its condition and quality — even though that was not the item in question. After going home and double-checking everything online, I realized they had been evaluating the wrong piece. I returned to the store with a photo for clarification. The employee then stated there was “no way” the part could look worn after only two days and implied it was damaged. I removed the thermostat from the plastic bag and asked him to show me where it was damaged. He was unable to point out any damage. The return was eventually processed, but the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging the confusion about examining the wrong item, I felt as though I was being treated like a difficult customer for asking them to properly inspect the correct part. My concern is the lack of attention to detail. If employees are not fully examining the correct item before making claims about damage or warranty eligibility, that’s a serious issue. Customers should be able to trust that returns are handled carefully and accurately. I hope this feedback encourages better training and more thorough inspection practices in the future.

    My experience with Autozone at the 312 Worth Avenue was absolutely amazing! My vehicles battery had completely given up across the street from Autozone in the midst of freezing heavy rain with temperature around 35 degrees. Not only were the employees enthusiastic to help me (two of the employees I were able to name were Kevin A and Fernie F) they even walked out in the freezing heavy rain to help jump start my vehicle so I could drive it over in the parking lot of Autozone for them to completely change the new battery for me! There was not a second of complaint, hesitation, nor trepidation for assisting with this task they immediately went to assist me before I could even finish my sentence asking for help. At least a minimum of 45 minutes were spent outside in this detriment of weather conditions installing this battery while the whole time explaining the process of why they were doing it and how it would be done. During that time I observed (who I believe was either floor or General Manager) come out into that same weather and install another customers windshield wiper replacement as that customer stayed inside out of the freezing rain. The staff are absolutely amazing, truly customer service like this cannot be bought into an individual and to an extant it can be trained into one. Customer service of this caliber as well as the exceptional service provided has to be naturally instilled in a person from the core of their being. Whatever the hourly rate they are being paid is not nearly the compensation they deserve. If I ever am to have another vehicle issue that can be fixed by Autozone I will travel straight to this location even if it takes me 1000 miles to do so. Not enough good can be said of this location and its employees and I hope their greatness can be recognized by our community.

    I was warmly welcomed by knowledgeable professional staff and they found exactly what I needed and it was the best Autozone experience I've LITERALLY EVER HAD!! Please give Daven a substantial raise. This kind of customer service is typically unheard of these days!! Bless this location!
