Great buying experience. Service center is a different story.
Buying my car here was smooth and I genuinely enjoyed the process. Unfortunately my experience with the service center has been the opposite.
I’m a VIP member and paid for 7 years of service upfront at purchase. My first mobile oil service appointment was confirmed via email and on my calendar. They didn’t show. I called, and the service manager personally guaranteed a new time the following day. They didn’t show again.
I called a third time asking to reschedule at a different location because I no longer trusted the process. I was told a general manager would call me back. That call never came.
Two days rearranged. Multiple calls I had to initiate. Zero follow-through on two personal guarantees from the service manager. And a GM who never called back.
I prepaid for 7 years of this service. Right now I have no confidence that will be honored. I hope management takes this seriously because the sales team deserves better than to have the service department undo their work.

I have been a loyal customer since 2020 and yesterday I was treated with such unprofessionalism from a service advisor. Sheehy sold me four tires without a warranty. And wanted to do it again. When I refused to buy the tires again the service advisor became mean and condescending because he couldn’t make the sale. I am so disappointed that I think I will never go back to Sheehy to avoid that service advisor. I lost sleep over my experience. I fought back tears all evening from his poor treatment.

Dear General Manager,
I am writing to share my recent experience purchasing a 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo from your dealership. After a month-long search and numerous online negotiations across the region, I ultimately chose Sheehy Ford of Springfield—specifically because of the outstanding professionalism and kindness of Mohamed Muhidin.
In today’s market, it is rare to find a salesperson who truly treats a transaction as a partnership rather than a battle. Throughout the process, Mohamed answered every email and question I had with clarity and respect.
I want to emphasize that I actually had a competing offer from another dealership that would have saved me $1,500. However, I chose to pass on those savings and finalize my purchase with Sheehy because of the trust Mohamed built. His responsiveness and professional demeanor were worth more to me than the lower price tag.
Mohamed is a credit to your sales team and a primary reason I would recommend Sheehy Ford to others. Please ensure he is recognized for his hard work and for representing your dealership so well.
Sincerely,
Kathy Hallock

I was thoroughly pleased with my car buying experience from Sheehy Ford of Springfield. I had previous troubles with a different company prior to going through Sheehy, but Stephen helped me find a vehicle on the lot that was exactly what I was looking for (safe, low mileage, and supportive of my driving lifestyle). Maxxx and Tina were incredibly generous and patient as I arrived later than I expected to, but continued to reassure me and make me feel like family throughout the process. I absolutely love my new car and I am more than happy and confident in my purchase, thanks to these individuals assisting me every step of the way. I trust Sheehy Ford of Springfield and I look forward to going through them again for my vehicle’s maintenance and future needs. Thank you for making me feel like family!
I gotta tell ya, I didn’t think a trip to Sheehy Ford would turn into such an experience, but then I met Erika! This gal's got more personality than a talk show host after a double espresso! I went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation, but when that door swung open, it felt like entering a Hall of Fame for customer service.
First off, Erika’s desk looks like a treasure chest exploded! I mean, who knew a trophy case could be a museum of quirkiness? There are little dolls and figurines just hanging out, like they’re too cool for school. I half-expected Chuckie to jump out and give me a high-five! And those gifts? Talk about customer love! It’s like Santa’s workshop threw a party right there—she’s got more souvenirs than a gift shop in Vegas!
But let’s talk about the vibe. You walk in and hear, "Hey, Erika!" and "How’s it going?" from her colleagues. It’s like a family reunion, minus Uncle Jerry’s karaoke. The hugs? Forgetaboutit! It’s like going up to your grandma—if your grandma had a PhD in auto repair and a side gig as a stand-up comic.
And that smile! I mean, if smiles were currency, Erika could retire! When she flashed that grin, I thought, “Hey, maybe getting my oil changed ain’t so bad after all!” If only smiling could also fix my engine, right?
While I waited, I couldn’t help but admire her family photo album—at least I think that’s what it was. It had pictures of her friends and family, and I felt like I was peeking into a really wholesome sitcom. Like, if I didn’t know better, I’d say that crew could give “Friends” a run for their money!
Now, back to the oil change! I thought I was just getting my tires rotated, but really, I was treated like royalty! Erika made sure I was all set to hit the road without breaking the bank.
So if you ever find yourself at Sheehy Ford in Alexandria, don’t just ask for a technician—ask for Erika! Trust me, you won’t get just great service; you'll get a whole experience! And who knows? Maybe you’ll walk away with a new doll in your car too!
